My brain has shutdown for the night, but I am stubbornly trying to get it to at least finish this event :x

You can do it, Rach! I'm cheering you on! GoGo!

My brain has also shut down. THANKFULLY I can use this for two different locations with only minor adjustments. Yes, working on...battlebackdrops *cries*

Those backgrounds are beautiful! I know how much work backgrounds are but I think it's totally worth it, everything looks amazing when it's all together like that.

I should try not to be so much of a ghost on this forum.

Here's a very, very early development screenshot. I mean, extremely early development. It's a baby. Backgrounds are not my forte, so I am pleased with how this turned out. Though I'm sure I'll ruin it when I colour it.

A bunch of trees done now. The palm tree was a bit of a pain, but the REFMAP tiles helped a lot for reference. Made the trunk base thinner as well. Got to say though, I'm pretty happy with the way it's turning out, considering I don't use my dominant hand to freehand the pixels.

Writing the story to my first game. Haven`t even bought RPG Maker yet :p .

It will probably take ages before i am finished with it, but i love to make RPG so it is totally worth it!

Trying to make diagonal interior wall tiles.  Slowly going demented.  Why, oh why, did I ever want to make a room this shape?

Diagonal walls are actually pretty easy as long as you're not trying to make into a 45̊ angle. PM me or post in the request section and I'll help you out.

First forum post, and I've already started derping!

Spent my first 100 hours (got it just last week during the Winter Steam sale <3) mapping the floors for the initial dungeon and tweaking *ad infinitum* its events, only to discover I was using the wrong flooring type after doing a blank project prototype for a script. And now I have nine eight maps to tweak. Again.  >_>

At least it'll look moar purdy after I'm done with THAT bituva &@#!-up. ... :blush:

EDIT: To clarify, yes, I have done my homework, and I know (and in fact did) that I can toggle the tiles to be impassable/passable/background passable in the Database...

...Buuuut slap my knees and call me OCD because I wanted to do it "right".

And one of those maps was rather large at like 50 x 25 with broken ground and all that.

I even managed to one-up myself when I found out that some of my tweaking had made impassable tiles passable by accident, allowing me to literally climb the walls!

The happy ending was that, between edits and cockblock invisible events, I got that ridiculous pile of poo (mostly) out of the way last night.

Now for the MC's flashbacks! Hooray!

I am currently working on the story for a sub-project that I am making with Ace in order to avoid writer's block for my initial project on a different engine. I like doing things this way because it always keeps my mind fresh with ideas, and if I find that certain ones I like don't work in one project, I can try to use it in the other. I have yet to completely decide whether the two projects will be related or if they'll be two different stories that just takes place in the same universe though.

Weapons battle graphics.

They will be used as skill animations (user animation). One frame, then rotate it, and voila. Rotating breaks pixels apart but... I'll leave the "perfect animation" for a "director's cut" release, if any (along with the enemy animations). There's already too much to do @,@.

Wow those are really looking awesome!! I love the palm tree especially.

I thought I"d share the final draft of my character portraits (this isn't all of them just a few) here's 3 of the racing teams, each girl in her uniform, casual wear, and fancy dress. These are the main characters when they're pretty young, this cast ranges from  12 to 17 at the oldest.

@Neverward - I love the characters!  Can't wait to see them all pretty and colorful!

I'm working on my alchemy system - my goal today is to nail down what items I want to be able to be crafted, the needed ingredients and to write out the recipes.  If I manage to get all of that done, I will start setting it up in the crafting system.

Just finished both regular graveyard, and the 'corrupted' version.

Now working on the crypt.

*ish nawt procrastinating for once @__@*

Somewhere between setting up in-game scenes and making Google Forms/Spreadsheets so I can (hopefully) keep track of everything and not be a lazy arse about my eventing and stuff o: Ish monumental task for a lazy bugger like myself whom rarely does more than write crap down.

Sadly, the reality of it is that I'll probably completely forget I've done all this work in about a week, only to come back in a month or two and wow at my amazing lapse in memory XD

@Archeia

I really like those grass tiles, and the irregularities in the path tile too.

@B.Ultimus.

Nice.  But I was left wondering why the fence stops so far from the cliff edge.  With a gap like that, fencing becomes redundant.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
