(This brings back memories lol) I finished both floors of the Arena((just need to do the battle pit, and the Arena will be complete, but the pit is only gonna take seconds to do), and since I have that all done, I figured I should do the Aseasia(outside) map now, so I have something to connect the Arena to.

However even with a blueprint, remaking masterpieces is still a challenge, because as you mappers out there should know, if you're off even 1 cell, you're screwed(depending when you notice something Isn't lining up to where it should, you could have to redo the entire map), and the fact this is an especially big city, certainly doesn't help matters any.

Working on a side project, because I need to shift gears after a breakup. This time I'm starting out with a lot of paper sketches and planning; the core concept being "Turn based Dark Souls". It's an RPG that will be very hard, and where gear isn't just increases in stats. All gear has pros and cons.

Finishing touches on the Aleasia map, and creating items to use in crafting formulas, as well as other items. In a day or so, I'm probally going do the intro cutscene, as well as the followup event.

Finally FINISHED my game project and currently making the instruction manual (will post updated screen shots on my developers page) of "Destiny of a Wizard".  Started this project in Aug. and glad to say after 470 hours it's finally completed.

Having friends beta test it out (to weed out any remaining bugs or hicups) to get their thoughts.  The game will be in a commerical format, so please stay tuned!  I am looking forward to sharing my very first completed project with everyone! 

Please keep an eye on the developers page as I will have some new formatted screen shots especaily map refinements of the games final form.

Guild House maps(2 of the 3 floors are pretty much done, and FL 1 is connected to the Aleasia map I'm also making key items, as well as events/quests to get them. I'm aso starting to impliment the story.

Working on some church windows.  I have my template I made ready, and then I'll start to pick a color scheme and design.  Then it's Gaussian blur time for the light.  If things work out well I'll do a few more templates for varying style/sizes.

Working on the combat system. My game is very magic dependent, and I'm trying to make it both interesting and logical. For instance, using a water spell to soak an enemy means they'll take only half damage from fire spells and become very resistant to the "burning" state, but they take double damage from a lightning attack; and while they only take one-and-a-half times the damage from ice attacks, they're more likely to be frozen by them.  But aaauuugh, the elemental rock-paper-scissors.  My brain.  My poor, poor brain.

I'm also trying to get Victor's Animated Battlers up and running, at least on a basic level. Place holder graphics or no, it needs done before I can post my demo.

And that's the main goal: Get the demo ready for release so I've got something to show the artists I want to commission.

No, seriously. I can't draw for the life of me, so I came up with the idea to just make models instead. 
Plus it gets the tub o' bricks out from under my bed, where it's been sitting for quite some time... :<

I'm too busy trying to juggle tilesets around so I can use them in a single map, to get any actual work done.

I made only only two small maps today sigh, and the finishing touches for the Aleasia map still aren't done(because of annoying tileset limitations).

the problem is, one tileset may have only 1 tile I may want to use, and if that happens more then once on a single map, as you can imagine you run out of B-E slots very fast.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
