Could be anything from art, audio, programming, lets plays etc. Anything that helps you along the way with your game making.
I'm only subscribed to a few channels and the only ones related to game development are

Yanfly Engine, BornCG(Blender stuff), Brackeys (Unity stuff) and Jimmy Vegas (Unity stuff).

What do you you guys watch?

I like HeartBeast, who typically does GameMaker stuff, but he also teaches some pixel art techniques. Most of my RPGMaker tricks, however, come from Yanfly. I also watch Echo, Driftwood Gaming, and SRDude.

you're going to laugh, but some of the best ideas I've gotten are from actual tabletop wargame crafting videos...

DM Scotty's DM's Craft, Wyloch Armory, Black Magic Crafts, all of these take mundane materials and make these awesome items for tabletop games, and when I see them, I often get inspired on how I can incorporate some of those ideas in my map construction.. They banded together and formed a YouTube group called The Crafters Guild (http://www.tabletopcraftersguild.com/) and they have a great YOUTUBE channel of the same name...

@jayray Cool stuff! I watched a bunch of dicetower videos to see what kind of mechanics tabletop board games use and see if they have any good ideas I might want to put in my games. Video games are great. You can get ideas out of almost anything.

Let's see, I also love Extra Credits, and I recently found GameDevUnderground, even though I haven't watched most videos his tips are pretty useful, there's also this spanish game reviewer called Dayoscript, he's very good and inspires me a lot.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
