What Book do you want to see as an RPG?

Out of all the books you've ever read, which one of those would like to see turned into an RPG Maker Game?
Some books lend themselves very well to the genre, and I would love to hear your ideas!
For me, it's a no brainer:

I think Sherlock Holmes would make a great RPG. Of course there might not me any action since it's a detective RPG but the storytelling would be great.

I did like the Rangers Apprintice book series but I haven't really read them recently so I don't know if they're good or it was my teenage self being dumb as I believe he was.

This book would do very well as a RPG/adventure style hybrid, I think. The main charaters are magicians but their exploits focuses more on development and cleverness, something that a rpg would be perfect to capture. The book also has extremely rich world-building with ancient kings and hidden lands.

The boss battles would be so intense.

Suddenly, the term of intense boss battles takes on an entirely new meaning.


As for me, I'd love to see The Black Company get turned into an RPG... or hell, any type of game. Or TV show. Or movie. Ah well, I guess the Myth series is as close as I'll get.

The princess bride is a good choice, although the only way to visualize Fezzik is as Andre the Giant for me.


For me I'd like to see a rpg based on my favorite fantasy series The Sword of Truth series. Here's the first book in the series:
