Skulduggery Pleasant series. They already have character classes, enemies, and bosses conveniently written in a way that would make it extremely easy to recreate them in video game form.

(^_^) Xanith series by Pier Anthony.  It was set in a magical world and I love those stories so much.  I was going to say, "The Sword of Truth" series, but someone beat me to it.  I'd, also, love a true more open world, taking into consideration all of the lore and history, "The hobbit" or "The Lord of the Ring" but not necessarily set in any particular world.  I know that there has been video games made in this, but I have, YET to see one that does the book justice.  Another book, that I'd love to see as an RPG has to be, "The Never ending story" and not the movie (as good as it was), but the book.  (^_^) Ah, I miss reading a good fantasy book, but I am more into creating my own stuff now.  Plus, I am getting into Agatha Christie and she was the master of writing.  I'd love to play a game, not based on a book of hers, but an original tile that's created for a game.  I have way too many ideas, as you can probably tell.
