I'm studying electrical engineering at college.

Not my first choice, but the closest to what I like, and the one which gives more money out of the options I had. Let's just hope I can carry on with it up until the end

Studied English in my undergraduate degree and then Environmental Studies as my Masters degree, specializing in Urban Planning. And now I'm an urban planner for the City of Toronto. It's great!

Not at all how I thought my life would turn out haha!

First time through college was Art but decided against finishing it (18 year old me thought they knew it all plus I had some loathsome teachers). Now I'm in for Electronic Engineering at a Technician level with the plan on finishing as an Engineer after I get a few years work under my belt because money.

Political science / philosophy / highschool teaching certificate

Technically I'm allowed to work as a highschool teacher in those subjects, but I ended up working as a music recording and mixing engineer.

I studied horticultural science, agricultural economics, and did my research in plant genetic engineering. Most of my work experience is actually in the medical field, lol.

Studied design communication visual in highschool. I didn't go to college, so after graduated from highschool I've become graphic designer for printing business. After 5 years, I burned out, so I quit my job and just focus on being a programmer now.

I wanted to study psychology but now I study computer science. Psychology degree is useless unless you plan getting a masters in therapy. Now I'm trying to write my essay. I guess I'll use a little help of writing service. At least they can help me to check my essay for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors. Hope in the next few years I'll get my master's in computer science.

Finished high school this month, and next year (soon) I'll attemp to enter to the national college for a bachellor degree in English langauge. At the same time, I will study to be a system analyst in a private institute where I got a scholarship

I also wanna study history and philosophy so bad, but maybe in a few years, since I can't do three careers at the same time :kaoeh:

Started with linguistics. Learned German and French. Already spoke fluent Spanish. Wanted to be a translator. My minor was English, wanted to write.

Quit and switched to game and simulation programming. Learned all various programming languages but never went directly into the field. Did some mobile stuff but I was making more money doing other things.

I studied computer science back in college. It's pretty fun getting to write your own programs. Plus, I always wanted to make a video game hence the interest :)

I studied a lot of things in high school. Art (color theory, architectural design, ceramics, painting styles, cartooning), music (various instruments and musical styles, how to read and write sheet music, music production on an 8 track and how to splice tape - I went to a ghetto school so we had old books) , English (literature and composition), math (I only got as far as geometry and pre-algebra. I did algebra trigonometry and calculus in college), history (American and world. this was before history books were super patriotic. They were still racist tho...). In college I got my degrees in graphic design, English , information systems, information technology, database systems management, and business management. (Being a secretary was easy. Now machines are doing it for me!)
Went to seminary school, became a minister licesed to counsel folks and excise demons. But I don't have the charisma to deliver sermons...
The only regret I have is not getting my degree in computer engineering and massage therapy... I took the courses but got ill from overwork and didn't finish. At that point I already had 6 degrees and decided to go west to find work.
I learned a lot... But my love is game dev...

I sweep the floor. My brother, "You didn't do a good job. There are dust bunnies everywhere." He sweeps the floor weeks later. "I just swept. Why are there dust bunnies everywhere?" Me," Guess you didn't do a good enough job."
Today, I tortured my internet by downloading 20 files at once and then I played a guessing game as to which would finish their download first :kaojoy:
Oh god, just watched HawkZombie's stream of my game and realised that *none* of the branching scenes work properly. One has no character graphic, one soft locks due to a passability issue, and one doesn't have its autorun set to the right trigger. I've got first prize in the bag, baby.
Frustrated, as always. I took a break from working on games and when I turned back to working on them again, bam! Slapped in the face with more errors. Such is the pain of working on any project, I suppose.
Checking out the Judge's Round Table. Really cool getting their perspective in a Q/A environment like this.
