I usually listen to the music found in the RTP, or whatever else is within the sound files. Sometimes, when I get bored or tired of a song, I listen to other songs in other OSTs that have the same feel to it.

Sometimes my game's OST, but typically lately I've taken to listening to "epic" music, i.e. Two Steps From Hell, or "epic music megamixes" off of Youtube (e.g. the ones by ThePrimeChronus) that run for anywhere from 1-10 hours. The megamixes also have lots of inspirational artwork from games and such in them as well, which also helps.

When I'm doing general work, it's usually either Fort Minor, Rise Against, or a mass variety of youtube songs.

When I'm working on story and character parts, I tend to put on a classical tracklist.

Lately it's been Lady GaGa (latest album, Artpop), Maximum the Hormone, Leonard Cohen and Glitch Mob. A healthy variation I think.

Recently I've been listening to a huge playlist of Amon Amarth songs because they get me into the fantasy gam mak mood, but I also listen to Light This City, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Bleeding Through, Pierce the Veil, stuff like that. I was actually thinking about this the other day—when I write fiction, I'll have a playlist of songs from a myriad of artists, whereas I generally listen to just one artist at a time when I'm game-making. It generally depends on whether I'm alone or not as well; if I'm alone, I mainly listen to melodic death metal because I don't like to do that when my partner's home (he can't stand that sort of music).

My itunes is pretty full of a mix of mainly 70s-90s rock, mixed with classical music best-ofs and some video game OSTs. The only newish music is Florence and the Machine. I like different music, as it's more of an inspiration to mix it up, so I have things like the Housemartins (a capella), Jeremy Soule (Guild Wars), Elbow, Cranberries, and the soundtracks to films like the Wedding Singer or Teachers.

...so in short, anything and everything, but always something different. I get annoyed listening to the same thing too much.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
