@Sharm:

Yeah I get you there Sharm, I know I shouldn't delete my work I do but sometimes I re-read my books I write and they just sound so awful that I delete them before I know what I have done - however I have changed a little, I don't delete as much as I used too :)  Out of interest how many books have you written and kept?

Your secret passageway leads to your laundry room? :)  That's pretty amazing!!

You never know when a secret passageway might come in handy, so nice one on creating that ;)

Sorry to hear about your bad health, hope you recover soon. If you need to talk to anyone you can PM me. I am available pretty much 24-7 :)

Stay safe Sharm.

Kindest regards,

Miffy6000.

Honestly, I dunno... I find this incredibly hard to say. I suppose, live a happy life.

@Indinera:

I like that answer, its a nice and peaceful one :)

I wish you all the best of luck on living a happy life with as little pain and sadness as possible :)

@nio kasgami:

Good luck with all of that. I want children as well but because I have ASD and am unlikely to ever meet somebody I will be unable to ever have children because most people with ASD are unable to adopt children :| !

However, best of luck for all of your life goals :D

To be fair, this is why mine is sort of absurd. I just want to have a good life. I mean, there are some implications to mine. That I will be financially secure enough to be able to do it, but that is about all.

There are more things I would like to do in life, but there are so many, and they are so spread around. I would like to design a successful board game. Write a published novel. Write a tabletop roleplaying game and/or setting.

But I guess as an honest answer: I want to get to watch my kids grow up to be happy, fulfilled adults.

@Miffy6000:

Thank you very much

@Touchfuzzy:

I agree whole-heartedly. And having a lovely family, finding a peace of mind, seem reasonable goals to me.

I really like your lifetime goal. Watching your kids grow healthily in to adults is truly very nice and I am thrilled that you wanted to share that on this thread :)

Good luck, I wish you all the best for yours and your children's futures  :)

Finding and keeping the "woman of your life" (sounds cheesy I know but for the lack of a better expression) too.  :)

Hi,

Good luck with that one as well. You should enter that line in to the Cheesiest Line competition, I believe Titanic won that competition because of Leonardo Dicaprio's line "I'm the king of the world!"

I hope you meet her mate :D

When I started doing Nanowrimo, my first novels were, well, crap.  Cool ideas but poorly executed.  The more I practiced in subsequent years, the better my writing became.  I'm still quite a ways from commercial quality but now I actually like re-reading what I wrote, so that's a huge step for me. :)

So keep writing and keep practicing and I'm sure you'll improve.

@Miffy:  Well, I'm glad you're doing better about not deleting things.  Keep in mind that even if on the whole it's not good it can be useful taken apart or used for inspiration.  You'll never know when you might need it.

I try to keep everything, but I've lost some writing due to computer failure, one of which was the novel that has the character "Sharm" in it.  I currently have one full rough draft that I consider worth pursuing further, I honestly don't know how many others I've got partial drafts of.

I don't know how useful my secret passage way is, but it's nice to have the extra bookshelf space in a place that would normally just be a door.  It's a small place and I do a lot of crafting so I need all the storage I can get.  That and it's super awesome.  Who doesn't love a good secret passage?  I'm currently working on making other secret storage spaces, I've got all sorts of awesome things planned out.  Today I started a project to make the seat on my dining chairs into a small storage area.  Should be done by tomorrow. :D

Ah, I appreciate the concern, but sadly unless there's a huge breakthrough I will never get better.  It's okay though, I have a great family, wonderful friends and talents I can pursue as work from home jobs.  I'm actually quite blessed.  I mean, don't get me wrong, it is really hard and frustrating and painful but it's not more than I can handle.

@whitesphere:

Yes I love writing as well whitesphere, though sometimes I do fear that my books are a little rubbish. But hey, I'm sure I'll improve at some point :)

Personally though what with my gran being so ill I haven't found the time to do writing or reading lately, so maybe once she improves a bit I'll start again...

Good luck with any future novels mate :)

@Sharm:

Yeah I do try and keep everything I write now Sharm but like you said, when computers go down its sometimes very difficult to keep your work - and usually when that happens its always your best work which is destroyed :)

In my house we don't have any secret passageways but we do have a music room down our garage. We divided the garage you see! The front half holds my dads Vauxhall Senator and the second half has our music room in it. The music room is complete with 3 guitars, a pink ukulele and an organ. All instruments are greatly loved :D

A storage area on your dining seats sounds pretty cool :)  I hope you manage to do it...

Well its good to know that you are coping :)  I often wish that they would find a cure for ASD, but sadly I am waiting in Vain. I'm glad you have friends and family who can look after you Sharm :D

Stay safe.

Kindest regards,

Miffy

Actually, the current research is looking really good.  Autism is pretty common in my family so we've been keeping up on it.  I expect a cure to happen within my lifetime.

@Death's Assistant:  Thanks.  I don't think it will though, they know so very little about it.  Right now the research is all focused on just getting consistent diagnosing rules so that they can start doing research on the actual illness.  My hope right now is for them to find better ways for me to cope.

@Sharm:

Hopefully they will find better ways for you to cope then Sharm. What sort of charity would I need to donate to if I was to try and help you and others with the same illness out?

Of course new illnesses are cropping up all the time such as Ebola.

Hopefully they will find a cure for every illness one day - keep on donating and dreaming and it might just happen one day :)

Stay safe Sharm.

Miffy.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
