Hello! :3

So yesterday my brother was playing animal crossing and asked if i could make a game like that.

Which actually, seemed like a fun idea.

So what features would you all like to see?

It doesn't have to be just from animal crossing or from a game in general.  :p

Well, a simulation game can be of anything, so... I guess one thing I see a lot in simulation games is some space for customization. Physics simulators have lots of it (I'm thinking of Besiege right now xD). Life sims like... the Sims, Animal Crossing, or even something like Tomodachi Life have lots of customization too.

Then there are things like Goat Simulator, Airplane Simulator, Work Simulator, Cardboard Godzilla Simulator (?), Underdog Simulator, Simulator Simulator... that are more like sandboxes. But even between sandboxes there are kind-of customizable simulations such as Universe Sandbox 2.

Anyway, tl;dr customization.

I like inter-character relationships!  Not necessarily dating sim style, but relationship variables which lead to different situations are always fun.  Animal crossing and Harvest Moon and such are fun mostly because of interesting casts of characters (along with the customization).  Also, pretty maps!

I seen a really cool friendship system that might be able to be utilized into this idea :)

Depends totally on what thing you want to simulate... Like I wont expect a friendship system on a train simulator...

but for life simulation games, I want to actually be able to have a life that I choose...

for farming simulation, stick to the actual farming and build from that... Allow us to take care of the plants, the animals, work our asses off every day and so on..

Ya my friendship idea was if they were wanting to create an alternate kind of simulated game idea.

Like having a pet simulator, you can build up friendship points that give you certain eligibility for different skills/buffs/etc.

Why couldn't you have a friendship simulator on a train simulator?

You're a conductor who also talks to his precious cargo that is people! I could totally see that being a neat setting. If you become good friends with one person. maybe they bring you sandwiches that boost your stamina by 10 or something so you can conduct for longer hours! Ooh or they could bring you things to decorate the area around you, or the train itself to attract more people.

Don't limit the things that could show up!

What I like most about a simulation game, is time. Time controls everything. Maybe not time in the way that, hey you have 100 days to make this class go from being F students to A students, but time as in, there's day and night, summers, winters, etc.

I would go for a Rune factory 4 style (the game is awersome).

I little of crafiting and gathering.

Some relationship system so the player has a mid-term goal.

Work system to gain money and a way to invest that money to make more.

Timed cutscene and events over a calendar.

etc.

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
