S'up,
I feel this is a stupid question, but what file are the sample maps in on MV, both Steam version and Standlone.
I'm new to MV (I mean, I just got it) and I don't remember having this much trouble finding the sample files in VX Ace.
I want edit some sample maps and make them into a big map. I was going to do parallax mapping.
Please help me :D
Thanx

you can't edit the sample maps in their original position, you need to load them into the editor and edit them there, saving them into a project.

What I have been doing is using a plugin the takes screenshot of the map and then I just edit that map in Photoshop. I just thought they where in a folder like the tilesets and sprites are.
Thanks anyways :D

Sample maps are just data, like the maps you create. Even if they were in files, you wouldn't be able to pull them into a graphics program. They're just lots of numbers that mean nothing until you put them into the MV editor or play the game.

You could take screenshots of the maps and parallax them from there.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
