Just a what if:

What if a game development studio offers you to be a part of their team? What Company would it be?

Mine's Nintendo because I love the super mario games back when I was still growing up.

The question is simple right?

Aldorlea Games, or Freebird Games.

Can't really decide which.

Valve, just to find out what the heck, if anything, they are actually working on.

Otherwise Blizzard.

Probably, Examu. Their all-girl fighting games are pretty awesome. But in reality, I would rather make my own company with all-girl fighting games or work with my friend who wants to make a company.

When i was younger i wanted to work for sega. I worked for 20 years to reach that goal. At this point I still have more hoops to jump through before  reaching my ultimate (sony)  but for now i develop for 2 major companies through my own company.

Klei Entertainment, aside from the Shank games, I've loved everything they've made. Or Petroglyph Games, my dream was always to make a C&C-style RTS and after playing their 8-Bit Armies game, makes me wish they applied a bit more effort into the singleplayer campaign.

I couldn't work for any game company.

i work at my own pace, with the story I want to tell.

If I have to compromise, to add/remove things because of <insert_external_reason_here> it's no longer my game and I'm less interested in making it. Eventually I'll quit.

Might as well not start :D

Working for a popular indie dev would be nice. Like doing the music for an indie game or something. Literally my life goal, though right now I'm not trying to offer musical talent here, because all of my musical concentration needs to be put into my exams, my competition and my own games.

Level 5 games. Their games are so memorable.

I like Falcom too.

None. I wouldn't want the stress. I make what I want to make when I want to make it, and if I never finish it, so be it. I've already got a main job.

Well, see that's the thing. I'd only really do a partnership for one game, and only if it's a game that interests me. I wouldn't work permanently for a company. Just with one or two people, for one project. I've decided that much. I'm not working for any large companies. I'm an indie dev, and I join single-project teams when I get bored.

I think this could be interpreted a lot of ways; not necessarily from just the development aspects. There are jobs in marketing, testing, all sorts of stuff that could come up. I know I'd love an opportunity to be a part of one of my favorite game making companies regardless of what it was (especially since I don't have a job right now, lol). Square Enix or Nintendo, companies like that whose games I've enjoyed for many years.

Now If you asked what game publishing company I'd want to work for; there's only one good answer to that! *Turns head and smiles slowly, with a thumbs up*  :thumbsup-left: :D

Yea... I understand you. On big companies we would have to deal with schedules and deadlines and they usually don't like to bet on new stuff too. Which is completely understandable since a bad decision can break the company. =/

Square Enix... because Square Enix

though realistically speaking, I don't want to go to any company... I want to make my own games, not make games decided by other people.. Even smaller studios make you make the game that they want, unless you're one of the higher ups of course..

I would definitely say the ones behind Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, and the one behind Dishonored 2. Those games I've been really  impressed with lately.

@Engr. AdiktuzmikoI definitely agree on that. After living with crappy parents I value my independence. I would much prefer Indie stuff over working for a company.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
