So as the title says what is your favorite anime.

Some of my personal favorites include Angle beats Sao (first 15 episodes), Akame Ga Kill, Death Note, Corpse Party: Tortured souls, RWBY and Blue exorcist but my all time favourite anime (while technically not japanese) would have to be Avatar: the last airbender. There is so many things this show does right that I don't even know where to start. The music is excellent the story is amazing the characters are all interesting there is not one that I dislike, the show somehow manages to jump between comedy and drama in the blink of an eye and despite being a kids show it has some very deep moments. If you have yet to watch it go and do so right now you won't regret it.

If anime films count, then definitely Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. I love this film so much it is tied with Inglourious Basterds as being my favorite film ever.

If we're strictly talking series, then Dragon Ball Z. Welcome to the N.H.K. is also really good.

Monster. Awesome anime with an awesome villain too.

Oh and The Slayers of course (Lina Inverse FTW).

EDIT:

I'm pretty sure that I already said these things in a similar thread somewhere. Déjà vu.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, easily. I love pretty much everything about it, from memorable characters to story to colourful art to the epic soundtrack. Has great motivational speeches and scenes, too. Plus ridiculous, over-the-top action that you won't find anywhere else.

"Just who the hell do you think I am!?"

"Do the impossible and kick reason to the curb!"

"Don't believe in yourself. Don't believe in the me who believes in you. Believe in the you, the one who believes in yourself!"

"Whether it's impossible or laughable... Great men open up paths of battle! If there's a wall in our way, we smash it down! If there isn't a path, we carve out one ourselves! The magma of our souls burns with a mighty flame!"

"Don't underestimate us! We don't care about time or space or extradimensional whatevers! We don't give a damn about any of that! Force a way down the path YOU choose to take, and do it your way! That's how Team Dai-Gurren rolls!"

@Dalph: I really gotta try watching Monster again. I was really enjoying it at my university anime club, but unfortunately I ended up missing a large chunk and couldn't follow what was going on anymore. (and at the time, my internet wasn't powerful enough to acquire anime myself) Did it ever get a physical release??? mmmm

Also, yes - I think a thread like this pops up more than a few times a year xD

@Milennin: Yay!!! TTGL~~~ Such a good show.

Some info about the Manga\DVD sets are here.

Although there's the whole series on Youtube\Dailymotion if you're interested, I can't link it directly of course but it's there and with a decent quality.

I forgot to say that the subs are in italian though, sorry Maki I'm evil and you know this~

The problem with Monster is that the anime feels REALLY slow. The manga, which is being covered almost exactly, is much better imo because it feels paced better. Something about translating that pacing to an anime really felt slooooooow.

I have several favorites, I just like them for different reasons:

Infinite Ryvius

Haunted Junction

Sword of the Stranger

Gankutsuou

Darker than Black

Makio-Kuta: Ah, Noein! While Serial Experiments Lain is still my all-time favorite, Noein along with Bokurano and Texhnolyze come a very close and tied second. I very rarely see anyone mention Noein in their favorites, which always makes me sad. I think it's time to rewatch it soon.

Dalph: Monster was really, really good.

That being said, you can do a LOT LOT LOT worse than Monster as far as anime goes. Its one of my favorite mangas ever, its absolutely amazing, the art, the story, the characters.

As soon as the blurays come out I am snapping those up so fast~ Excited to rewatch the series again... though I've watched it so many times already. Also HIGH FIVE!

Bokurano is another one I've always wanted to see.

Quite difficult to stick to only one :3 Here is my list:

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

Hunter X Hunter (2011)

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Code Geass R1 & R2

Clannad & Clannad: After Story

Fate/Zero & Fate Stay/Night UBW

All very awesome. I can't stop hearing this song and imagining the epic fight (HxH):

I hope they continue the anime T.T Lazy Togashi...

PD: Wasn't this thread made somewhere else?

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso. One of the most beautiful and devestating animes of all time. Watch it.

Also, since I watch new anime:

-Prison School

-Punchline

-One Punch Man (just started, is excellent)

-Working!! (Wagnaria!!)

-Rokka no Yuusha (Too bad the ending sucks, but that's the fault of the source)

-Amagi Brilliant Park

-Himouto Umaru-chan (My feel-good anime)

-Gakkou Gurashi (Moe horror was never this dark)

Lupin III's new season just started, so there's that too.

Why you do this? Now I have to buy the new RPG Maker xD
I've always dreaded planning for my games so I just didn't plan at all. That... didn't work out after all. :kaosigh:
Turns out it can be kind of fun if you keep the scope small and don't take it way too seriously.
well... for the first time in months... I feel like my game is headed towards something again. I finally have it where I won't be drawing battle assets for the rest of the year...
What I would give to actually get some feedback on my game...
