So, as the title says. What is your most memorable video game dialogues / quotes?

Mine comes from Castlevania : Symphony of the Night PSX Version, at prologue.

Here it goes:

Richter: Die monster. You don't belong in this world!

Dracula: It was not by my hand that I am once again given flesh. I was called here by humans, who wish to pay me tribute.

Richter: Tribute? You steal men's souls, and make them your slaves.

Dracula: Perhaps the same could be said of all religions.

Richter: Your words are as empty as your soul. Mankind ill needs a savior such as you.

Dracula: What is a man?! A miserable little pile of secrets! But enough talk, have at you!

It's intense. I can't even forget it. However, in my opinion, it is ruined in the PSP port of Symphony of the Night.

So what's yours? :)

They are going through a very cold place.

Neon:  I am made of awesome, and awesome doesn't get cold.

It's funnier when you see what Neon looks like.

From the Far Cry 4 trailer

"I distinctly remember saying, stop the bus. Yes, stop the bus, not shoot the bus. I'm very particular with my words. Stop, shoot, stop, shoot. Do those words sound, the same? I'm sorry, I didn't hear you.. what did you say? Got out of control, I hate when things get out of control".Then he stabbed his soldier to death :)

This is a tough one. I have a few. There will be spoilers below, but I'll bold each game's title beforehand so you can avoid them:

Lightning Returns, while its story wasn't as good as the original, had a few really good moments. One in particular really struck a chord with me when you returned to the Ark for the last time:

Hope: What about my soul?
Nier is loaded with them. If I had to pick one, it would be after you beat the twins in the Shadowlord's Castle:

Nier: Popola, let's stop.

Popola: Stop? You cut down my sister like an animal and you want me to stop?
That part sent shivers down my spine. Not just from the dialog itself but from the amazing delivery of the lines. Utterly heart-wrenching.

I also have a hard time picking just one from Metal Gear Solid 2. If I had to list memorable quotes from it, I would probably be quoting the entire game because it's a masterpiece. But here's one in particular, selected because of its astounding foresight. Remember, this was written in 2001, before social media became a thing:

Rose : We've always kept records of our lives. Through words, pictures,
symbols... from tablets to books...

Colonel : But not all the information was inherited by later generations. A
small percentage of the whole was selected and processed, then
passed on. Not unlike genes, really.

Rose : That's what history is, Jack.

Colonel : But in the current, digitized world, trivial information is
accumulating every second, preserved in all its triteness. Never
fading, always accessible.

Rose : Rumors about petty issues, misinterpretations, slander...

Colonel : All this junk data preserved in an unfiltered state, growing at
an alarming rate.

Rose : It will only slow down social progress, reduce the rate of
evolution.

Colonel : Raiden, you seem to think that our plan is one of censorship.

Raiden : Are you telling me it's not!?

Rose : You're being silly! What we propose to do is not to control
content, but to create context.

Raiden : Create context?

Colonel : The digital society furthers human flaws and selectively rewards
the development of convenient half-truths. Just look at the
strange juxtapositions of morality around you.

Rose : Billions spent on new weapons in order to humanely murder other
humans.

Colonel : Rights of criminals are given more respect than the privacy of
their victims.

Rose : Although there are people suffering in poverty, huge donations
are made to protect endangered species. Everyone grows up being
told the same thing.

Colonel : "Be nice to other people."

Rose : "But beat out the competition!"

Colonel : "You're special." "Believe in yourself and you will succeed."

Rose : But it's obvious from the start that only a few can succeed...

Colonel : You exercise your right to "freedom" and this is the result. All
rhetoric to avoid conflict and protect each other from hurt. The
untested truths spun by different interests continue to churn and
accumulate in the sandbox of political correctness and value
systems.

Rose : Everyone withdraws into their own small gated community, afraid
of a larger forum. They stay inside their little ponds, leaking
whatever "truth" suits them into the growing cesspool of society
at large.

Colonel : The different cardinal truths neither clash nor mesh. No one is
invalidated, but nobody is right.

Rose : Not even natural selection can take place here. The world is
being engulfed in "truth."

Colonel : And this is the way the world ends. Not with a bang, but a
whimper.

And to contrast that wall of text, one of the most devastating lines I've encountered in a game was just two words long. From Fate/stay Night's Heaven's Feel:

It's spring.

Of course she did. The greatest sadness is not when something bad happens to someone who doesn't deserve it - that's just annoying, it's not fair - but when someone starts to accumulate bad karma and you know they're going to get what's coming to them. The mixture of dread and anticipation heightens the impact when it finally comes.

I really hope the anime goes with that ending.

[Lloyd and Kratos thrust their swords into Kvar's stomach]

Kvar: Kratos... you pathetic, inferior being!

Kratos Aurion: Feel the pain...

[Kratos slashes Kvar]

Kratos Aurion: ...of those inferior beings...

[Kratos slashs Kvar again and Kvar falls to the floor]

Kratos Aurion: ...as you burn in hell!

[Kvar dies]

After hearing this quote years ago I had tingles and chills all day and then after recently hearing the line in the anime it was so hype.

Nordom: Attention; Morte. I have a question. Do you have a destiny? A purpose?

Morte: Is Annah still wearing clothes?

Nordom: Affimatory.

Morte: Then the answer is yes.

"Ahh... what is this... ? Are you a dream? A fantasy? A recollection, spawned of my own dead mind? Yes, you are that, but you are more, too. I know you, spirit-eater. You are an irony that walks... two fates bound together, both severed and incomplete."

"Heya! It's me, Imoen!"(except that's a lie, I hate this dayum line so much)

Here's a couple from Persona 4 (and now you all got me wanting to play that game again. I'm blaming you if I disappear for 4 weeks now :)  )

The need to change and the desire to remain the same...they’re mixed together – Naoto

Everyone has something they can’t show to other people, or don’t want to admit to themselves – Yosuke

That game has some really deep lines. My roommate at the time liked to watch me play that game as he liked to study philosophy.

"Death is not a hunter unbeknownst to its prey.

One is always aware that it lies in wait.

Though life is merely a journey to the grave, it must not be undertaken without hope.

Only then will a traveler's story live on, treasured by who bid him farewell. But alas, my guest's life has ended, his tale left unwritten..."

-Persona 3

"Life is truth, and never a dream...

All souls know this from birth...

The truth of something that is chosen and grasped... something discovered with one's vision and will.

Only by gaining that does the seeker become truth himself, a cord that connects path and future.

But now, our guest's destiny has been severed, and the truth languishes within the hollow, fog-filled forest..."

-Persona 4

Gotta love the Shin Megami Tensei games.

StarCraft 1 Zeratul:

"Are you truly so blinded by your vaunted religion, that you can't see the fall ahead of you? Your Conclave believes that they are winning this war, but all they've succeeded in doing is helping the Overmind to win."

"You speak of knowledge, Judicator? You speak of experience? I have journeyed through the darkness between the most distant stars. I have beheld the births of negative-suns and borne witness to the entropy of entire realities... Unto my experience, Aldaris, all that you've built here on Aiur is but a fleeting dream. A dream from which your precious Conclave shall awaken, finding themselves drowned in a greater nightmare."

StarCraft 2 Zeratul:

"Tassadar! But, you died, slaying this cursed Overmind!"

I can't help but giggle at how his character progressed. :p

Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
