My most prized possession is my Xbox 360 controller.
It came with my first Xbox 360 (which was from that first batch with the RROD issues) and is now 10 years old. My great-grandmother bought it for me as a surprise, just because she loved me and knew what I enjoyed (I love my great-grandmother :3).
I have, after doing some rough math, put that controller through almost 30k hours of gaming. The only thing on it that isn't factory is the battery pack, mine fell apart D;.
It isn't the most pristine controller, the grips on both thumbsticks have been worn down completely, both thumbsticks stick at certain angles, and the RB and LB both have broken springs in them.
But, despite that, it is my most prized possession. Through a decade of games and emotion, sometimes getting physically violent with it, it has been with me. And even when, one day, it finally falls apart into a pile of half-melted plastic, I will pick up the pieces and send it off to be put back together and continue using it for as long as I possibly can.
Now I ask ,what is your most prized possession? What's the story behind it? =3

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
