I don't like narrative based choice. My english suck, so anything that heavily based on text understanding to pick a right choice to advance is not me. Just gimme more action.

Plus, any mechanic that have limit. It could be underwater level that have breath meter, or turn based startegy that have limited turn, or anything that have limit. These things usually stressed me out

I really like hard games especially puzzle and strategy games. Love playing Skyrim with hundreds of mods to amp up the difficulty. Or Fire Emblem on highest difficulty.

Biggest problem for me is having too many available waifus.

My only weakness in games is if the party has 5+ members. Dang, I grind a lot for them to have high-tier level and equipment... and barely finish the game at all.

EDIT: There's another. When my actions in RPG's caused sadness to NPC's and other characters. For example, when I get the NPC's savings by interacting in their shelves, making the monsters sad in DQ because I didn't let them jump into the wagon... That's just depressing.

Much to the contrary, I actually do enjoy the stealth moments.  What I hate are long cutscenes that have to be repeated.  Every.  Time.  You.  Die.  I always appreciate it when they allow you to skip the scene after the first time.

As far as tutorials, it depends on how it was done.  I thought the tutorial in Undertale was wonderfully done.  Who can't love goat mom?  But then you have games like Kingdom Hearts 2 where you want to hang yourself before you get to the end of the tutorial.

Day......Three.......

By weakness i mean like puzzles in games or having do a really hard parcor area with jumping and perfect timing and that stuff.

BTW: This might be weird but its my first topic so sorry if it comes out a little werid..

Puzzles, mostly.

That's not to say I suck at puzzles (I'm fairly decent at them, if I do say so myself), it's just that they grind absolutely everything to a halt in pretty much any game that uses them, so I don't even bother with puzzles.  I see a puzzle in the game, I immediately hit up YouTube so I can solve it and go back on my way to the much more interesting GAMEPLAY.

If I want a puzzle, I'll play a Sudoku.  Or buy a puzzle book.  I don't need puzzles in my game.

Well, unless that game is Portal.  Those puzzles are awesome and fun.  Other puzzles like switch pulling and other crap?  Screw those things.  If you can't design cool puzzles like are in Portal 1 and 2, leave puzzles out of your games.  You're bogging down the experience and making it 900% more unfun.  Yeah, I don't play a lot of puzzle heavy games because of it.

I sometimes hate playing large, open world games, because I easily get distracted trying to do EVERYTHING. And, doing everything takes a lot of time. Which ends up working against me and I end up not finishing said games. So, after a long while, I make the decision to hop back on and plow through the story and nothing else. :)

Hmmm... Anything that requires quick timing, like fighting games, combining and such, or RTSs, since I have trouble moving around the battlefield and concentrating on moving my guys and all. Turn based isn't so bad for me, but like one person said; if I have to multitask like that, forget it. I'm done like dinner.

Well with Asperger's I tend to fail A LOT at RTS games that require heavy macro management... (SC2, WC3... Rise of Nations)

I would also probably throw  quick timing in there too (Dragon's Lair... Nuff said)

Driving comes easy to me I've always enjoyed the NFS series especially both Undergrounds and the PS2 Most Wanted.

My problem is timing. I am bad at it. (See me play border jump in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga...It's a mess...)

Also, it's 3D SWIMMING!!! 3d swimming is, by far, the worst game mechanic ever...

I am really bad at first person shooters, my last FPS game was Quake 2.

Not also really keen on PVP environments, I'm a PvE type of player so never in my life I participated in a serious guild war in Ragnarok Online or finished those PvP missions in Grand Chase.

To be honest I also really hate Tutorial stuff when it is embedded into the game. I want to be captured and immersed from the first moment and and every tutorial is totally destroying it. People were able to learn games 20 years ago without tutorials, we do not need them now.

And if you really, really want to to them please as a separate option in the main menu.

What about Portal and Portal 2?

Like the first half of both of those games is just tutorial.  Actually, like 90% of Portal 2 is a tutorial...

Good point. I think in those cases it is really well done and part of the gameplay. However, you can not do that with every game. In fact I don't know any other game that does it as well as Portal does.

- Stealth missions. How am I supposed to know what the enemies' range of sight is?! In some cases, you're noticed from way too far, other times you literally sneak under their nose and they don't even notice a thing, all in the same game, sometimes the same level. Ocarina of time is the worst offender. Games that are built around this, however (Metal Gear Solid), usually get it right.

- Escort missions, especially if the escortee possesses the intelligence of a jellyfish and the self-preservation instinct of Sylvia Plath. Skyward Sword's annoying robot, I'm looking at you!

- Abrupt genre switches in the same game, especially if the engine and controls handle it especially poorly. Double points if the game is online and has lag to account for. Some more gruelling, enemy-filled jumping puzzles of Guild Wars 2 and the f***ing hoverboard races of Ratchet and Clank take the cake, but action-based minigames of Final Fantasy (chocobo racing and butterfly catching in X, the fistfight scene in VIII and the motorcycle chase in VII) are close.

Crystal Shock Devlog #5 yay!

This week was super fun as I got to work on my favorite thing: Combat! A new boss has been added and some new mechanics on top of that. I also made some improvements to the first town.
Home cooking is good for your health! My wrist had been hurting weirdly for months now, but when making a soup I lifted a storage container with the "bad" hand, it crunched and there was a stinging pain and now everything is back to normal.
You gotta be kidding me...
Apologies for posting again so soon, but I just had to share what I believe to be my best map yet, I'm over the moon with the way this has turned out to be.

Definitely leaning on the "try to" part of the status feed rule and I really try not to sad post, but not only is my kitty Simone more or less confirmed to have IBD... but she has some pulmonary edema and a slightly enlarged heart. They say everything is early and mild and that I'm very diligent and observant about my pets but iunno...doesn't feel like a win right now.
