What kind of plugins/scripts are you looking forward to?

A Visual Novel engine.

I know there is a plugin called NovelMessage by Yoji Ojima. But all it does is compiling separate messages into a single screen when Control Switch 11 is enabled.This is very useful, but hardly enough to achieve that desired VN feel.

I would like to request a plugin that utilizes NovelMessage's feature, but also goes much-much further by adding the following options:

1. Pathfinder RPG (D&D 3.5) Style level ups, you pick your feats and collect HP, class bonus features... ect!

2. Magic the Gathering style MANA system (potentially related to stats somehow?)

3. NES Zelda (1) style heads up display (always active, stretches down when you are in the menu, you can see certain key items, money, health, condition... ect outside of combat or the menu, hotkey a few items like health potions, see your keys available).

4. Customize battle screen menu layouts (commands appear at the top, messages appear 3/4 toward the bottom of the screen, player in a panel to the right while enemy info is in a panel to the left... give me presentation options!)

5. Thorn damage [attacker receives x damage, where x could be a variable, damage return could be limited by element or type like physical, magical or certain, for instance your armor or spell effect will only harm those that have dealt fire damage to you or ranged damage or possibly ANY damage (other than DOT effects) (ranged would have to be classified under element)].

6 Ultima IV style world time, where even if you stand still on the world map the moon phases change and enemies will run into you.

I wish there is a plugin for animated HP/MP/TP gauges. Right now the gauge just updates once with the new value. It would be visually more appealing if the gauges grow up/down dynamically.

I don't know if it's been made for MV  yet or not, but I really loved this script made for VX_Ace:

It may have been tedious to set up but it was really worth it if you wanted a more in-depth skill learning system.

I'm a bit iffy with the RPG idea of "I hit this thing with a stick now I can shoot fire".

So this script combined with classes not learning new skills from level up but rather having to speak with an NPC puts a wicked spin on the gameplay.

I am looking forward to someone making a ring hud for combat and I am hopefully wanting a better menu to select skills from during combat. Something more comprehensive.. tighter.. Like the way Lunar SSSC does their skill menu...

Personally, I would love to see this in a script: Being able to place A4 tiles into the B,C,D, or E slot..."WITHOUT" losing what was already in those slots. This would allow more wall event tiles to be used in more maps...which would facilitate cool events like breaking walls, damage to walls, etc. In my opinion...this kind of plugin, would open up a lot more cool normal-level events, while increasing the possibility of more complex events for advanced users.

I feel like this restriction, if eliminated...gives you a lot more event "Objects". Anyway...that's my two cents.

Okay wow, can we have a SIMPLE version of this where one person can make one plugin request per day? I've spent a lot of free time just reading through things that are part request and part speculation. Maybe if you find a solution to their problem you should PM them, just to save people (like Yanfly, who is NOT Yami due to the amount of plugins they both release and the different format of the help files included) the time of sifting though the soil for the gold.

Script Request: On death effect: If HP= 0 you trigger a first time effect.

Example: Phoenix Pinion- Final Fantasy 8, party dead? Check, Phoenix Pinion in inventory? Check, Summon Phoenix? Check!

Example: Immortals- Lost Odyssey, Actor with <Immortal> tag? Check, Dead? Check, Wait 3 Turns? Check, Revive at % Max HP Automatically!

Example: Final Attack Materia: Actor with F.A.M.-like weapon, item, skill? Check, Dead? Check, Enough MP to activate Skill? Check! Unleash assigned Skill, Item or ability!

Example: Diablo 3 Class Resurrection abilities: Passive abilities that on death revive player at low HP automatically with typically 60 second cool down time (12 turns/60 steps)? 

Extra Features: If MP= 0, If TP= 0, or you can have them be (100) % based like FF7/FF9/FF10, Limit break, Trance & Overdrive!

Low HP systems: Dragon Warrior interface turning red when low on HP, Zelda Heart Beep.

I did not mean to sound like a jerk there, it's just a lot of stuff to read through... I couldn't imagine being a scripter and going through all that in the amount of time they have between releasing incredible plugins, updates and all of the side activities.

- I would love to see a TBS system similar to what GubiD did, but in the style of Final Fantasy Tactics. I may even commission someone to develop it.

- Bigger sprites similar to FF6

I wonder if it is possible to pop up damage during animation.

I used to use a plugin in RMXP, which splits the damage of the skill into segments. Each flash on the target will pop up a portion of the damage. How the damage values are split is based on the flash duration. The longer the flash, the larger portion it carries for the damage.

New request. Remember in RPG maker VX Ace there was that system where you could make it snow with large snow flakes or make leaves fall or fireballs fall from the sky or other weather effects? That for MV. ;)

I have 2 request:


1 A diary plugin, but not a quest log, a page in the menu where writing down what has appened in game, so than a player has stopped to play for some time he can read down what he has done the last time he played (like the SYNOPSIS in Tales of games), maybe not a premade list of strings, but some array (then if your game has choices you can wrote many different record)


2 a little alteration of your Action Sequence Pack 2 to have at least other 2 point where a character can attack the enemy.


I mean at the moment I can put my characters like this:

Then using  DoubleX RMMV Unison Item  I can make a full 5 character combo skill.
