what kind of titles makes you give games a chance?

To me, its not the tiles but what you do with them.

You could have the most expensive pack, but if your mapping is not better than anyone with an RPT set,then whats the point...

Also, your characters need to be more than "sword guy, healer girl, antihero person".

If the title sounds like a good, classic RPG, it'll get my initial interest. But game contents is what decides whether I'll give it a try or not. I'm mostly into the traditional fantasy setting RPG. Not looking for anything fancy, I don't even care if you use RTP (if anything, I consider RTP usage a plus). If that game looks like it put effort into gameplay, not just wanting to tell a story, and there's an available demo, chances are I'll give it a try.
