Everybody has a favorite game, or at least a game they like a lot. So, what about that particular game did you appreciate the most? Of course, there are probably multiple aspects of the game that you like, but is there one in particular that stands out?

For example, The World Ends With You is one of my favorite games. Certainly, the battle system is interesting, and the music is good, etc. But the thing that really made it special to me was not only the story (which was excellent), but the fact that you could go back after beating the game, go out of your way to do stuff, and get even more story while experiencing the main story all over again. That, and the fact that they threw in an extra silly story once the game is finished.

Undertale is another one worth mentioning, but absolutely gigantic spoilers ahead if you want to play the game yourself.

Sans is perhaps one of my all-time favorite characters. Sure, he looks silly and goofy when you first meet him. And you'd be right. But he's also not at all what he seems, and is insanely good at his job. Perhaps the best part of his character, though, is all of his motivations. After you've killed everyone in a Genocide run, he's the only one left, and is determined (hint hint) to take you down. And chances are good that he will. Often. But the only reason he's even bothering is because of a promise he made to a friend who's now dead. That, and you killed his brother. I've never seen such a "the player is the villain fighting the hero" twist so well made before in a game.
And then there's the Storybook from Super Mario Galaxy. So far, it's the only video game to make me cry, and the Storybook is pretty much why.

So what about your favorite game really makes or breaks it for you?

Don't forget, aspiring writers: Personality isn't what your characters do, it is WHY they do it.
Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
