I am just getting into the genre and want to know what your favorite RPGs are in terms of story, gameplay etc. Thank You! (Note: I have played Earthbound and Mother 3, and loved them, would like to see more games like them!)

Some of my favorites:

Dragon Quest 8: PS2, 3DS
Final Fantasy 6, 10: SNES, GBA, PC
Chrono Trigger: SNES, DS
Paper Mario, The 1000-Year Door: GameCube
Diablo series: PC, PS4
Path of Exile: PC

Basically, I love RPGs that offer a lot of options. Particularly in the build. I like experimenting with different character concepts to see what works.

I played so many RPGs I can't say for sure as each has it's own qualities. The Morrowind game series is one of the better ones of recent times. I enjoyed the very original Morrowind the best but Skyrim is a very good buy.

Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Radiant Historia are a good starting point, in my opinion.

Are you into smart phone games? Try Final Fantasy Brave Exivus, it's the best mobile game I've ever played. HD quality it's like playing PS4 on your phone, it does take 1.5GB of space. Completely free but has an item mall if you wanted to buy stuff.

If you would like something that is a bit similar to Earthbound in terms of humor and general feeling I would recommend the Mario and Luigi series. The battles even have a similar thing where you can increase the attacks with proper timing!

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
