What was the first RPG you ever played, and what was the oldest?

My first RPG computer game was The Bard's Tale on a Commodore C64. The C64 was very popular a that time and my second computer (after a Texas Instrument TI-99/4a).
Before I played Pen&Paper RPG - the first was Midgard.

First:
I'm not 100% sure because it was so long ago, but I believe my very first RPG was Tales of Symphonia for GCN, or maybe Disgaea: Hour of Darkness for PS2 (and it took many, many years before I actually completed either). If you mean traditional RPG, then Chrono Trigger or FF6 (the PS2 versions), I forget which I played first.

Oldest:
I've barely touched FF1 despite having it on NES since I was a kid, so not counting that, the oldest I played was Earth Bound Zero.
All of the ones mentioned I first played/started before the age of 10 so my memory on the specifics is rather hazy lol

If I remember correctly, the first RPG I played was Secret of the Stars for SNES.

The oldest RPG would probably be Final Fantasy IV.

First RPG was Final Fantasy 4 (called 2 in the US when I played it). The oldest was the original Final Fantasy (the actual NES version), although I never fully completed it. I actually had never beaten it until last year's pixel remaster version.

For my first played RPG, I'm not sure if it was Pokemon Emerald or Final Fantasy 1 (GBA port). I never made it very far in either of them in my youth.

As for oldest, it may be Pokémon Red (emulated), though this may change in the future.

Depends on the definition of RPG, but I suppose the first was Pokemon Blue. Oldest is most likely FF1

First ever that I remember? Might and Magic 1. I had no idea what I was doing so I just ran around the starter town and grinded to level 9. Then I got bored. Though to be fair I was in like 3rd/4th grade then too.

I think the oldest I played was Ultima 1. Yes I did attempt to play the original once. Key word attempt. It didn't go so well...

The first RPG I played was Paper Mario. The oldest I've played is probably Earthbound, unless Princess Maker 2 counts for its adventuring and battle parts.

Oldest I've ever played more than a curiosity was probably Ultima III, I can't really imagine there's much older than that that holds up well.

In modern times now, i like open world "TES V Skyrim" with mod Enb graphic, so beautiful.
