Akazukin Chacha (Red Riding Hood Chacha) was my first anime, which came on tv when I was about 5 years old or so. The transformation of the little girl into a teenage magical girl pulled me in deep, thus began my descend into such vast world. I tried watching it again at my current age, I was probably too ignorant as a child to notice the transformation scenes very irritatingly being reused for over a span of hundreds of episodes.  As for manga, Shin-chan was the first. I still have those old mangas though (they're in terrible condition since we were kids and we sucked at taking care of our own things).
yeah myself I scrapped a lot of manga / anime when I was young I lost a half completed albartor series D: ! on VCR

now I realise this is sad..I lost some of them so I can't continue to watch them ;_; !

I'm not going to count my childhood 'cartoons' as my first, considering that at the time of watching them, I thought that that was all that they were.

The first anime that I watched (and is still a favorite of mine), and considered anime, was Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny. I remember being so captivated by its' awesomeness and genuinely fell for the story- for whatever reason that is.

I do not count Inuyasha, the Dragonball series, Sailor Moon, or Naruto as at the time I watched them I thought they were just plain cartoons.

Ew, ew, ew, ew. I mean, as a Gundam fan, I'm not one of those types who hates everything not UC, but SEED Destiny is terrrrrrrible. SEED was alright. Destiny ruined it.

Sailor Moon...Card Captor Sakura...Inuyasha....Wolf's Rain.  All of those hold special places in my heart.  Adult Swim was the boss back in the day.  I'm not as big into anime and manga as I could have been-  I suppose because I never really had the time to immerse myself in it beyond reading a few volumes here and there and watching whatever happened to be on tv that was anime.

I do still enjoy those that I do watch though.  Animation in general holds a special place in my little birdy heart.

Death Note.

Either that, or Code Geass.

I'm not sure but it might have been Pokemon, the first series and it was dubbed into Finnish.

I tried watching it awhile ago, it was pretty bad, but I didn't want it to taint my memory so I stopped watching it. XD

The first was probably "Tanoshii Moomin no Ikka", or just "Moonin"/"Mummitrollet" depending on the country, which is a famous Finnish children's story made into a Japanese anime.

Of course, I had no idea that the series was Japanese, or what anime was when I first watched it.

Now, watching it, it's quite obviously Japanese (everything from the style, to the sound-production and the adult themes hidden behind the cute exterior).

Next up was when I started reading the Dragonball Manga, at a friend's house and got hooked. At that time I knew it was Japanese, and what manga and anime was.

I used to watch some dubs in elementary school on Saturday mornings. But the first anime I watched subbed would be The World God Only Knows... but I didn't get the humor behind it until I actually played a Visual Novel like Clannad or Rewrite.

Ah the memories. My sister and I found this awesome cable channel called 3. And at 5 am every morning there were episodes of random anime. We never made sense of one - there were no voices to hold conversation or move the story line, though there was definitely a story being told. "Kodomo no Omacha" I think it is translated to "Child's Play". And of course our very favorite of them all also was Sailor Moon. We collected a lot or memorabilia on that: playing cards, toys etc. I honestly miss the playing cards the most. I think the first actual manga I got into... Might have been "King of Hell", which is actually Korean?

As a kid who had no idea what anime was: Pokemon and Digimon.

As a 'grown up': Hellsing and Fullmetal Alchemist, the latter made me cry.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
