Tokyo. Specifically, Shibuya and Akihabara.

For anyone who didn't know, Shibuya and Akihabara are Commerical centers that meant a lot of manga and animes to buy.
  • Shibuya is known as one of the fashion centers of Japan, particularly for young people, and as a major nightlife area.
  • Akihabara is considered by many to be the center of modern Japanese popular culture and a major shopping district for video games, anime, manga, electronics, and computer-related goods. Icons from popular anime and manga are displayed prominently on the shops in the area, and numerous maid cafés and some arcades are found throughout the district.
There is always new things to learn every day.:LZScool:

@Kupotepo I saw my friend's photos during their trip to Europe, and I wanna go to a place like a salt mine with a chandellier or something. I believe it is in Austria.

And I have relatives in Germany too, I'll probably go there.

And I am just sick living in a tropical country, and when I go abroad it is always during summer. So I'll go during Fall / Spring.

@Ed19, I think that it is a benefit of travel in EU nations. I think it is easy to travel between EU countries.

You meant Salt mine Hallstatt, Austria. That sounds interesting. There is a 90-minute guided Salzwelten-tour which covers 1 kilometer. Visitors put on white coveralls to protect their clothes inside the mine.

You meant Schönbrunn Palace when you refer a chandelier.

I am not a tour guide. Wait for the local or knowledgeable people to inform you.
That is true that I am not a fan of a humid climate.

Tokyo is also the largest metro area in the world with a population close to 40 million. Overall seems like a rather impressive city worth a visit.

Just saw my friend post it is in the Salt Mine Wieliczka Kopalnia Soli...
so it is in Poland, not in Austria.

I highly recommend that Salt Mine, and many other places in Poland ;)

I'd like to go somewhere outside Europe for the first time in my life, but covid lockdown has ruined my budget, so this year is gonna be all about work..

Pre-covid I was planning on visiting Paris again (for Disneyland as well as some Japanese fashion stores) this year and then go to Japan next year, since I assumed it would be too busy this year with the Olympics.

I'm already saving for a trip to Japan, either Tokyo or Osaka, whichever my husband and his friend decide on. I would rather go to Tokyo on my first trip because I want to hit up the two Disney parks there and most of the shops I'm interested in are in the Tokyo area. But there's some stuff I want to do in Osaka too.

My husband's been twice, but that was when I had my previous job and couldn't request two weeks off work at a time.

Otherwise, I want to go back to Disneyworld and visit a bunch of theme parks.

Because the lockdown was mostly a joke in the US, and because it's definitely a joke now...

Already been on two summer vacations with the kids. Probably no more traveling for me again until October-ish though.

@Ed19, that is interesting to know.
@slimmmeiske2, wow, I do not know the Paris have Disneyland. Now, I am thinking about how many Disneyland around the world.
I find the answer: There are Six Disneylands—that is, “castle parks”—around the world—in California, Florida, Paris, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.

@tehrin, I feel like you will not like Osaka if you are a shopper. Osaka is a historical city. It used to be brief as the imperial capital. Famous landmarks in Osaka include Osaka Castle. I have wronged that there is Shōtengai [local shopping district] in Osake and Den-Den Town is the electronic and manga/anime district.

@HumanNinjaToo, what you want to travel if everything is good? [Just seeing and the US is a big landmass to explore.]

There's a number of Japanese fashion shops and 2nd hand shops that I want to visit there. Most are in Tokyo too, but it doesn't hurt to check other locations to see what they have. There's also some good restaurants, and I really want to try the jiggly cheesecake! A friend of mine actually prefers Osaka over Akihabara for anime-related stuff. But I'm not as big into that as I once was. My husband is, however. He takes two suitcases and then sends a large box back home full of figures and books.

@Kupotepo As far as the US goes, I've been to most places that I want to visit. One last state on my list is Florida. Other than that, most places on my wish list are outside of the US. I've always been a big fan of history, so taking some kind of European tour is on my bucket list.

:kaojoy:@HumanNinjaToo, wow, that is interesting that travels across the US. How about the Yellowstone National Park? It is Old Faithful amazing like people said. I am kind of like nature traveling than city traveling.
