Kind of Blue by Miles Davis is an absolute masterpiece and one of, if not the greatest, jazz albums ever.

Well, all the albums of the RHCP

One day, I was sitting in the car of a friend of me, and there was an MP3 player of his sister.

We turned it on, and listened to the song, then, we came at a awesome song.

It was Snow (Hey oh), since then we listened it a year long everytime we were in that car.

Years later I went on vacation to Florida. We had no CD's with us, so we had to buy some.

At a music store, I found the CD with Snow (hey oh) on it, and I listened to all there CD's.

Been there for an hour just listening to there songs. :)

We bought some of them, and later, when we were back in Holland, I bought some more.

I have them all now. Don't know which one is the best, I love all there songs.

Well that's my RHCP fanboy story, thanks for reading. :p

Lateralus by Tool. This isn't literally the best album that I've ever heard, but it's certainly my favorite, and it's the only album that I can think of wherein I actually like every single song on it. Reflection, in particular, has been my favorite song for years now -- I've listened to it countless times, and could listen to it anytime and still remain enthralled by it.

In fact, thinking about it just made me listen to the song again. This is all your thread's fault.

Huh, well recently, it has to be Generation Freakshow by Feeder. There wasn't a single song on there I didn't enjoy listening to, no matter how many times I did, either.

Let's see:

The Sky is Crying - Elmore James (the original 'headbanger')

Led Zeppelin - (I-IV take your pick)

Pink Floyd - The Wall (the album not the soundtrack)

Sgt Pepper - The Beatles

Briefcase Full of Blues - The Blues Brothers (in all seriousness, this band could play)

Just about anything by Bob Marley, John Lee Hooker, or The Grateful Dead

The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place by Explosions in the Sky. Wicked Post Rock.
I would've gone for Take Care, Take Care, Take Care. Solid group nonetheless.

It's hard for me to pick a favorite:

I like all of Alice Cooper's old music

I love most of Moody Blues

I enjoy a lot of Motley Crue.

I love Enigma, Enya, Asia, and Journey.

Rhapsody has some awesome stuff.

And I can't help but smile when I listen to some of Weird Al's older songs.

But if I had to pick, I'd probably go with Asia. They've been around since the late 70's, and still come out with new stuff. While the band has changed considerably throughout the years, I'm still amazed at how well put together they are.

I just successfully tested changing music by region, and changing it between continents on the world map after getting on/off the airship. I had to override the default audio transitions with eventing to make it change smoothly but it worked.
