My avatar is a drawing I've made of my gaming/game development mascot, VHS! For backstory...
Around 2015 or so, I started playing Minecraft with my brother. I didn't have a skin for the longest time, and he wanted to see something other than Steve when we played together. He offered to make me a skin. I didn't really have an idea about what I wanted, so I just asked him to make one based on one of my favorite anime characters at the time, Yuuta from Zombie Loan.
He ended up with this!
I had used this skin up until the end of last year. I love it and never planned on changing it, but when I started up my Youtube channel, I wanted to have a mascot based on the skin itself because I treasure everything my brother makes for me- sajkhdfkk-- So I drew up a mascot that took things I liked from the skin as well as trying to make the mascot look less like Yuuta. After that, I gave him the sketch and he remade the skin for me! (My art at left, his skin at right. He's definitely improved on his skins- aaaah!)
In the end, I still love this character a lot considering they were inspired by one of my favorite characters, and given life in Minecraft by my dudebro- haha!
When I was creating my avatar I tried to show on it my entire personality:
elegant, but dowdy,
dark evil countour of character, but kind heart hidden deep inside,
self claimed servant of night and darkness, but longing for warm light and purification,
full of hatred and arrogance, but desiring to come out to people and make friends.
Kirby is probably obvious from my user name. The friend to the right is Jawby, a fakemon drawn by an artist a long while back. I thought the drawing was super cute, so they made me pixel art with Jawby and Kirby hanging out and I've used it ever since.
I found my explanation from a previous thread, but I'm gonna elaborate a bit more.
This is ????. She's the avatar for a character I had/have going in a fan game. The person behind the avatar is in hiding, but something happens to a Youtuber and this is how she represents herself if she needs to talk to said YouTube personality. It's a trilogy and you don't see her until the end of the second game to beginning of the third.
I also have her depicted with white eyes and bags, but those aren't options in the character make in VXAce. I have a draw over saved where I was doing that.
I am not a philosophical like everyone else on top and not a diplomatic on saying this. I found the app to make the avatar on the Google store and I downloaded it. I see the assets there and I mixed the pictures together. And I wrote my username down on the text box and downloaded it into my account here. That is my story of my current avatar. I hope you are enjoying.
My avatar is the "villain", Goob from one of my favorite animated movies of all time, Meet The Robinsons (criminally underrated btw), this is the child version of him while he is the villain, ever since I was a child I related to him, I understood him. I don't want to spoil the movie in case someone wants to watch it but essentially he was an orphan who believed everyone hated him because of how he was treated as a child. This character still resonates with me 14 years later.
I "stole" it from Soulsaga on a productive less afternoon when everyone in a Project 1 community QQ group(something like discord) gets bored.
And we just post the emotion of this avatar to each other repeatedly, having no idea what we are actually doing. Then... everyone slowly become very very lazy.
My avatar? It's a Blaziken from Pokémon mixed with Eliwood from Fire Emblem. Someone drew a couple of these Fire Emblem/Pokémon mashups years ago (I think it was on Tumblr?) and since I really like both series they appealed to me enough to pick one as an avatar to represent me on the online fora I frequent.
I'm actively looking for people who want to recreate classical compositions in the public domain for RPG Maker games. I've got a whole kick going on of looking for several resources from anyone which would be sharable amongst commercial games. This latest pursuit is something I'm surprised no one else has started doing.
