Whats the Story behind your profile pics? Your first game?

My profile pic is a character from my first game, Arrlak an intelligent telepathic "direwolf". I like the white on black background.

My first game started from character ideas and banter between Arrlak and Ellie (the protagonist of the game) that I'd been toying around with in my head. At first I was thinking about a dynamic where the parental figure was caring but kind of mean and harsh, so at first Ellie was younger and more naive and Arrlak used meaner language. But I decided to change that. Then I came up with the other characters and the school/University theme in the background.

I'd been getting into visual novels in recent years, so I decided to do something like that. I've also always liked party banter. Then I was like f*** it, I'll leave combat for episode 2, and just added some minigames. Then I upped the comedy side of things and topped it with some fetishizing.

My profile pic is of a supervillain apparently plotting nefarious things from the late MMORPG City of Villains, a game whose untimely death was greatly exaggerated... sort of. It gets complicated.

I gain 34 bonus XP and 12 infamy because my username is directly related to the profile pic for terrible reasons that will remain secret because of meddling heroes. I will not be foiled again, not before my sinister plans involving this hapless RPGMaker program are malevolently fulfilled to unspeakably dire results*.

My first game is inspired by true historical events of a calamitous nature that demanded I take up the digital pen and pour their long sad tale out using the brackish blood that flows in my cursed veins to illustrate the absolute certitude of Nietzschean eternal recurrence and the harrowing message that it sends to the hearts of all misguided souls who after deep personal examination who prove unworthy of the gauntlet cast before them so callously.

Failing that I'll make something with rooms, a few orcs you may fight, and a suitably merry jingle to listen to while you get more things and wise up! So there, creative sorts! You are warned.

My profile picture is an A.I. generated image of the main character of my 2nd game BlueSkies 2, Lyrelle. A healer white mage heroine who's escaping a holy order that hunts witches.

My first game "BlueSkies", is inspired from old-school JRPG's that I grew up with like the pixel-based FF series and Grandia. The story has a healer main character tho (like BlueSkies 2 & 3, and more) which is the only difference since most RPGs I'm inspired by usually have this badass sword-wielding main char. xD But yeah, BlueSkies was a fun first RM project I worked with using RM2k3, and I made a ton of game dev mistakes with this one, but it was a very fun learning experience for me to help me improve in my future game deving!

My profile pic is the main character of my first (after many "for fun" projects) and current game that I actually am serious about, IMAGINE: Roleplay Club.

Well... more accurately the first draft and first drawing that I did. Nothing extra-ordinary, he just look like a basic student.

As for my "first" game i was just browsing the RTP folders and came across a few SF military looking peeps and decided to make a small game around those characters/themes for testing, that "test" is now a full demo and a big game in the making...
