Can we see what's on page2?

Events read from right to left, so if page2's trigger is active, it will process page2 not page 1.

It's because of your labels I think.  You are creating an endless loop.  Try removing the Else part and the jump to label and see if that helps.

If you put jump to label after Else if's going to constantly jump to your Yolo label over and over, and I think that's what is preventing the picture from showing.

Removed the labels and the else bit

It shows the picture, but I had to change it to Z, since X opened the menu instead.

It won't close now

Not sure what you mean when you say it won't close

Ok all I can guess is the Z button wasn't coordinated right or something, because the game doesn't seem to be reading it when you push it.

'Z' = C button in the editor.

But you're going about this the wrong way. It seems you want to show the player a picture, which will then erase when they press a button.

Make an (autorun) event like so:

Show the picture

Show a text command with a space in it, and use a transparent window

Erase the picture

Turn on self switch A

Tada ~ Now the player sees an invisible text window that they must press a button for to proceed, which will then remove the picture.

PLEASE learn what autorun and parallel process events are for, and how to use them properly. That last project I helped you with made it clear that you're fuzzy on this, at best. You do NOT have a loop surrounding the entire contents of these events, as they already repeat by default.

Really - a few minutes spent learning how to use them properly will save you (and us) a lot of headaches down the track.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
