Hi guys so like the question is asking!

what you guy's plan for Christmas time!?

for myself I plan to rest with my family and having a Christmas party not really big but I know my mother is already preparing the food...and most of the food will be homemade!

That's one of the numerous points I love a lots about my mother...she's a REALLY good cook!

and obviously we will attend near friend and family member for eating good stuffs c:

other than that I think I will focus on drawing!

SO what's about you~?

All I want to do relax, and I'll get a decent amount of that since I don't have to worry about school work. However I'll probably get a ton of hours from my part time job during the week of Christmas, especially on Christmas eve. Not complaining since the extra hours will be nice, but it's seems like it's been a long time since I last viewed Christmas as a 'calm season' when in the business world it's the exact opposite.

I do also wish to spend at least some time with my family, even if it's just my immediate family.

Christmas aye...

I'll be sleeping in late. At 14:30 I'll go to work, and 2 hours later I'll get off. Since Christmas is my payday for December I'll go buy a present for my wife right away. After that I'll probably go to Starbucks and order a cinnamon roll (warmed in the microwave plz). I'll also have their "new" Christmas frappuccino. Around 19:00 I'll meet my wife and we'll have dinner at some fancy restaurant that is supposed to have a nice cheese fondue (among other things). Then we'll be heading home. Probably pick up a christmasy~ rental dvd from Tsutaya, exchange presents and then watch the movie before we sleep.

The next morning on Christmas day I'll sleep in late again since I have vacation until the 3rd. From there on I'll be RPG making like a mad man... :guffaw: BD

"Same thing we do every night, try to take over the World!"

But seriously, I'll probably play a few matches of League, go on tilt and work on my game for a bit.

Probably the only difference from my usual schedule is I'll be helping cook the turkey and cleaning the house (again).

Eh, not much. I never really did much for the holidays, though it's usually a pretty joyful time either way. I hang up lights for the month and eat a ton of peppermint flavored everything, and that's about it. Especially. Oh, God. Especially Ghirardelli Peppermint Barks. I've ruined, I mean, enriched many lives by introducing all my family to these things.

My boyfriend is Jewish but we don't do much for Hanukkah either, besides failing miserably at lighting the candles each night. We never really get around to that. Oops. Last year I made cookies with this horrible blue frosting. I think we might do the tradition of Chinese food and a movie this year instead.  :)

Peppermint is tasty. :D

There won't be any kids at my parents this year, so it'll probably be pretty low key.  My younger brother is autistic, so even though he's an adult we'll still be doing the whole "gather up at the top of the stairs together then come down as a group gasping in awe at what Santa brought" thing.  It's fun.  We'll eat pastries and slowly open presents (one at a time so it'll last all morning) listening to some Mannheim Steamroller or something equally christmassy and wordless.  We might eat real food for lunch and play with/ assemble the presents.  Then in the afternoon we'll head over to my aunt's and have sandwiches and hot cross buns and special hot chocolate and hang out.  The official family party is always held earlier in the year so there might be a last minute present or two but it's usually really mellow and people come and go throughout the evening.  It's an old family recipe for hot chocolate, but I've never heard of anyone making it this way.  The milk is heated separately and then there's this cream and chocolate mousse stuff that you put in yourself to taste and stir in.  Everyone in my family is amazing at cooking so any big gathering with them has at least one special food associated with it.  Even labor day.

That's just what happens on Christmas day.  We have all sorts of other traditions.  Mom and Dad always join a choir and Mom always gets a cold right before the performance and has to sing despite a sore throat.  The night the tree is decorated we all lay on the floor looking up at it and watch the lights change and talk.  My extended family gets together early, does a children's nativity, eats lots of tasty potluck foods (it looks like sticking to soup and salad may be the new tradition), and we all sing carols.  We used to do a mini talent show, but there are waaay too many of us now.  We go to a yearly Christmas singalong and sing carols and end with the Alleluia Chorus.  On some random night we'll all get into the car to drive around and just look at lights.  My mom puts up every single one of her collection of Nativity scenes, removes the baby Jesus from all of them and sets all the wise men far away and slowly moves them closer every day.  On Christmas the baby Jesus' have "mysteriously" reappeared where they belong.

So, we do lots for Christmas, but it's not really overwhelming.  It's all about spending time with family and enjoying each other and the beauty of the season.

What am I going to be doing?  Continuing to help my mother recover from her broken knee accident that happened the day before Thanksgiving (yeah, 2 years in a row where Thanksgiving was a bust for us).  Still, as long as I know she's taken care of, it'll be a good Christmas for me, but she's bummed because she can't celebrate it with us, her kids.

Still, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas, or Happy Hanukkah or whatever you celebrate, if anything.

What do I plan to do for Christmas?

Stealing it~

Seriously now...

I'll spend it with my family, helping them decorating their house, cooking, playing tabletop games like Monopoly and Tombola (raffle), watching cheesy Christmas movies all together, eating like a whale and overall enjoying that special day.

What am I going to do?

Probably none of the things that I say "Yeah, I'll get around to doing that on winter break." Because, you know, that would mean ending my eternal procrastination habits...

Sarcasm aside, I've gotta buy gifts for my family. My grandparents actually were born a day apart from each other -- my grandma on the Christmas Eve, and my grandpa on the Christmas Day. Which, I must say, is a terrible time to have a birthday. I'm terrible at picking out gifts, though. I mean, my family is always like "Oh, I love it! Thank you!" But I know. I aaallways know...

Last year, I had some...let's leave it at "stomach issues with unpleasant, smelly side effects." So, for my Christmas feast, I had...wait for it...a bowl of rice. Yup. So I'm planning on eating overtime this year to make up for last year's lack of feasty-ness.

Oh, and Christmas cookies. Can't have Christmas without Christmas cookies.

I'll be my usually scroogy self waiting patiently for Christmas to end while trying my best to stop my kids from ruining their cousins'/classmates' "innocence" the way I apparently ruined theirs. At Christmas eve dinner I'll also likely have to endure and contend with the obligatory incredulity of family that just can't understand how my wife and I could be so cruel as to only give our children two gifts apiece (one from each of us) and having each of them buy a small gift for each of their sisters with their own money on top of that. Of course no one else in my family has more than two kids to buy for, so maybe they'll shut up about it this year, somehow I doubt it though.

Other than that we'll likely go to church with my mom and grandmom for holy week services, and maybe go to mass with my wife's brother's family as well. Not that either of us are ourselves particularly religious but we try not to let our own perceptions shield our kids from valuable life experiences, especially in areas where our own ideas are decidedly ambivalent.

I'll be jolly, cause tis the season to be.

Might probably deck the halls with boughs of Holly too!

Falalalala, lala, lala!

For the first time in 10 years, I'll spend it with my family (now that I'm back from abroad), so I'll help my mom and mom in law with cooking, play with my daughters, have drinks with my brother, father and brother in law and father in law too. and I'll drag my wife under bough of holly at every opportunity!

to put it simply, I'll be merry, cause this the season to be!

Falalalala, lala, lala!

*Gasps*

Two gifts a piece?!?

Hehe...the best part of Christmas isn't seeing how many gifts they get, but the look on their faces when they open them, no matter how many there are.  I think it's awesome that you have your girls shop for their sisters.  What a great way to teach them that the giving aspect of Christmas is so much more meaningful than the getting.

Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
