Hi there!

Anyone here used Indie GoGo to crowdfund your game? How was your experience there overall?

I have not used it myself but I have a online friend who has. After asking her I have condensed the answer into a few key points. Take it with a grain of salt as I have no personal experience of indiegogo.
- The service is badly moderated, meaning obvious scams are not deleted. This gives the site a bad name.
- Very hard both for uploaders and funders to get hold of support
- The website is very easy to navigate, design your page and link to social media.
- Sometimes uploading a picture or video is buggy and you have to do it many times for your page to get updated.
- Funders seem more open to new/potentially riskier ideas than on kickstarter
- the "featured" page is not curated but updated by a metric, so you are more likely to get featured by uploading a video/picture/posts a day instead of making quality updates to your page

A few good points but the overall impression seems negative.

That's what I noticed.

I'm running a campaign in Brazilian Portuguese there, but it seems that the Brazilians are ver wary of backing there (we only heard of Kickstarter here so far, but Kickstarter don't accept campaigns from South America countries >:().

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
