I know that this would have probably been better for PM, but I though this could help out others.

I was wondering when warning points run out and what warning points don't run out.

Warning for Passive Aggressive expires in X days,

Warning for something else in X days.

I would like to know too, but I'm just glad this place uses a warning system.

If you click on the warning it gives you the expiration date. (the warning below your profile) unless somebody forgot to add a description to your warning. Each warning time is different.

Last time I got a warn, the member had to acknowledge the warn which gives all the details of the warn, but I am not sure if it still that way.

I haven't seen a time of expiration on either of the ones I received.

mine either...and mine makes no sense at all...

abusive behavior? I was suicidal, not abusive. At most it was a passive aggressive form of outburst.

I'll check out both of your warns. I have a feeling that they got messed up in one of the database problems we've had recently and that is why they aren't expiring.

Give me a day or so to get it straightened out though.

Strawberry: Yours should have already expired, I cleaned it out. Also passive aggressive posts are against the rules. Also, remember that a single warn, or even a couple of warns doesn't do anything to you permanently. We all have bad days (I mean, I think I even got a warn back on the old sites back before I was an admin). Its only when it becomes a regular occurrence that we even think about it.

BlackNekos: technically yours didn't expire for two more days, but it was easier for me to get rid of it now since the expiration didn't seem to be active

Thanks, I was mostly curious about how long each warning should be and if it was meant to be displayed... unless it's a bug, though I didn't check the warning for aggression, so I wasn't sure if an expiration date did appear.
