When learning Ruby/RGSS3...

I had to ask a question, i'm trying to learn ruby, but when i was reading a guide that is not related to RGSS3 (it's Ruby in general) would it work equally if i want to test in VX Ace?

most thing will work the same, but rgss lacks a lot of the features of regular ruby

If you learn ruby though, you will be able to read and alter and write RGSS scripts.

I might use RubyMonk for learning Ruby.

yes, it lacks features, such as ruby gems, but the syntax is identical, and its the syntax you must learn in order to write code ^_^
