... they tend to say "hello!" (should I worry about that? oh nevermind...)
Hello!
I recently purchased rpgMakerMV during the steam wintersale (sounds familiar?) This is not the first time I'm working with an rpg maker. I have been working with the rpg maker 2000 previously, but that was a solid 15 years ago. However, as for many others I guess, it sparked the wish to work full time in game development, which today I'm very lucky to do. And when I say "today" I'm actually lying, since I took some time off to be a full time parent to the sweetest baby in the world (opinion might be parental delusion). And because you have SO MUCH time to spare as a parent (/sarcasm end) I thought I'd give the rpg maker another go and thanks to the experience I was able to gather in the past years, this time I actually made it past the "woah I have this awesome story Idea that is going to be completely epic" stage.
Which means, that I'm currently creating a (most certainly) throwaway prototype which will hopefully act as proof of concept/proof of fun for the core features. Regarding development I'm sort of a Jack of all trades, being able to do a bit of everything as long as it has nothing to do with code.
Well, I guess that's all there is to say at the moment maybe except for: I'm very happy to be here and really looking forward to seeing what everyone is creating!
so long!
