Where can I find how to create NPC's And Battle Events

Hello, I am new so I'm looking for a tutorial for beginners that covers all the basics.

I'm also looking to find how to create an NPC character that stays still and moves around and how to make them say things.

I'm Also looking to find out how to create bad guys to fight.

We cannot help you, if you don't show what you have done - no one will read a 200-page-tutorial to find out what you might have read wrong in it.
Please attach a screenshot of the event you have created (if it has several pages, provide screenshots to all of them).


Make that full screenshots of the entire events, not only the content ares.

That is a different issue (which I see you've already logged in its own thread - so please don't post multiple times for the same question - starting a new thread was the correct action to take). To learn how to create npcs and battle events, you need to follow some beginner tutorials. The tutorials you have been directed to are all for VX Ace, not VX, but a lot of them will be very similar.


I do question why you're using VX? Ace provides just about everything that's in VX, and much more. If you haven't yet purchased, I'd suggest you check out Ace first.

Okay, I didn't do anything. I downloaded this program once before and it worked fine but I am on a different computer it wont run Ace lite I Tried already. It said I don't have the .NET framework but I do I just don't have version 4.5 and I cant get 4.5 because this computer wont support it. So I redownloaded a fresh copy of VX and intalled it and when I say start game there is not text in the starting menu like. Start, continue or whatever. It's just blank and theirs suppose to be text there without having to do anything. I can't buy the program because I don't have the money thanks a lot. Sorry for double posting, don't be so hard about it ok. It's not a big deal.

And once again, THIS is not the thread. Your question here was answered. Other issues belong in their own thread.


And just FYI, blue text is not "being hard about it" - it's saying, as a mod, that you've broken a forum rule, and giving you a link to the rules so you can get to know them. How about not telling a mod what to do or not do when they point out that you've broken a rule? THAT's kind of a big deal
