Given that the project recruitment is mainly for foreign language games and developers, how would I go about creating a thread for offering the abilities I have now?

One thing I didn't realize, when I started advent innocuous about a decade ago, is I'm really more of a writer and artist, until extremely recently: although I work on Artificial Intelligence right now.

Would a concept artist and script designer actually be a real position?

( One of the reasons I've never applied to the studio that does One Night, even though I love their games. )

why do you assume that project recruitment is for foreign language games? The rules require an english version there, and you stated that your first language is english so you can't call a recruitment for english games to be foreign language?

that said, project recruitment is exactly where you should look to join a team working on an english game.
and yes, concept artist and story writer and script designer are all real positions that are paid in professional teams - but they require quite a number of skills and experience to get paid i professional studios.

Honestly, the topic title could have been better than just "Wasn't sure where else to ask" because it isn't the entire thread all about. You could just write it as "Where can I offer my skill" or something. That said, I don't know either where to ask, but I think general discussion just fit well for now.

The answer is Project Recruitment. You create an Offer thread there stating what skills you bring to the table. You can specify if you only want to work in specific genres or any other limitation you have.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
