Well, something physically can be shown to children despite cruelty and violence, but it doesn't mean it's a good idea.

As for the second half of your sentence, can you be more specific?
Well as I said, I personally feel that psychological horror is far more effective medium than a visual one and it is the mindset I make things with. As such, as my point was that if the said action did not particulary offer visual macabre but would stil lbe in themes very twisted and quite psychologically horrific, would it be considered more mature than the game focused on visual macabre and not fitting to teens even if the actual elements are not actually shown?

I haven't seen you say "psychological" at all until now. So, you have said you're asking about themes that are "non cruel and non-violent", not "visually macabre", but are "very twisted and quite psychologically horrific". Can you be more specific?

I didn't say? I thought I did. Anyway, I'd rather not go into that territory in here. Though, I never said non cruel or non violent, just not macarabe.

...while non cruel and non violent can be a much more traumatizing event.

Firstly, you did say "non cruel and non violent".

Secondly, if you're not willing to discuss specifics, I'm not sure why you brought it up.

It's your game, so do anything you like.

If it's just for you then who cares?

But if you want that game to accepted, and appreciated, gauge it to the audience that will be viewing it.

Certain people are easily offended, others are not.

Heck, I watch South Park and if that does not offend me, then what will? I'm far more concerned if your gameplay is good than if you have nude characters.

Thanks for all the input!

Note**

It's funny that everyone jumps to graphic violence/nudity. I specifically stated in the OP that I'm not referring to graphic content.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
