Having a secure job with a stable income, or perhaps going to university again.

In any way, I want to earn some good coin in order to pay for tons of custom resources. Also I hope that my current project will be finished at this time.

Nothing anyone here wouldn't want.

I hope more or less the same, more games released, to still be an actor in the indie business, and if things go really well to have either a published (not self published) novel or rock album  BD   :rock-right:

Good luck then  :rock-right:
Thanks =) Good luck to you too!

Hmm, where will I be in 2020? Probably in a particularly uninhabitable part of Alaska or Canada, far away from the unavoidable train wreak feel-good politicians have made of America's economy.

On an even more troublesome note, I'll be living with a sixteen year old, and another almost teenager by that point, I don't envy 5 years from now me in the slightest.

Damn, feels like many of us are parents... Our children will be lucky to have parents understanding gaming is not evil.

Or they will think we are has been, not able to adapt to new game dev patterns.

Yeah, as 29 years old they had to let me go.

I wasn't deemed fit to have a "real job" so I never had one. This made me eligible to retire early and gives various perks that are normally reserved to those after long career.

Does that make me a weak human being? Absolutely not. I'm physically fine.

I'm allowed to earn through my game sales and stuff like that without penalty but they will tax me from it like anybody else.

Those are all skill based professions where your success depends a lot on how much you put into it.  If you don't know now you won't be there in five years.

I remember drawing blank when question about what you want to be when you grow up came up in school etc. Referring to your potential job.

I actually returned such questions without answering to them with an actual answer as I don't genuinely know even today what I would have liked to really do as my real job.

Even though it was some kind of group thing and papers were supposedly anonymous, that principal ended up ridiculing me without knowing it in front of the class.

My computer broke yesterday, so no RPG maker for at least a week until I can get it repaired. :(
Just wanted to share how my game won 1st place in a game jam for itch.io. Everyone else used Unreal, Unity, GMS2, Godot, etc but I used RPG Maker 2003 :guffaw: It just shows that you can create a good game and it doesn't matter which engine you use
Working on cutscenes~

if your game is the first (or ONLY) in a series and still has a colon in its title, you are a bad person and I hate you...... jk.
