There is a guide in the manual that is integrated in MV, please follow the guide.

APK is just zip. So just use either Winzip/Winrar/7zip and make it a zip file.
While it's true APKs are just zip files, there are other Android-specific files that need to be generated and included in it. The guide in MV's manual will tell you how to get the tools that will eventually allow you to get them all made. Just zipping it might work, I don't know, but I doubt Google would allow it on their store like that.

Zipping it does work since I used some tools that 'exports' to APK and they just zip it up. I think it's more like google tools that does the APK process -- which is separate from the engine.

Mmm, I understand Faytless has something to make this "easier", but in my personal opinion if you're going to cut corners for this, you're not going to get a good result. Just because there's an easy way to port to another platform doesn't mean that it'll be a good one. If you want a good result for mobile ports, you'll have to put n more work to ensure that the controls and stuff are well-optimized for the mobile platform, not just click a button and boom, you've got a port.

But if you want the easy way out, search for his posts. A lot of it has been going on here.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
