Hey there! The question is already in the title of the thread, but I will put it again; Which OS (Operative System) are you using?

I have been using again Linux Mint Cinnamon 18.1 since I got RPG Maker MV, that can actually run on Linux (Not like VX Ace), and I am using it right now.

But sometimes, mostly for gaming purpouses, I use Windows 10.

What about you?

Technically I use all 3.

I am on Linux Mint MATE 17.2 majority of the time, though this may turn into Manjaro within the next month or two for various reasons.

I can also dual boot into Windows 10 and I have a Windows 7 Virtual Machine on my Linux side as well.

I also own a Macbook Air with Sierra MacOS for on-the-go needs.

Wow, nice. Never used any Mac device thought

I have heard a few things about Manjaro, but nothing that makes it better than Mint, why are switching?

One because I want to update Mint but I'd rather not risk breaking anything which basically means if stuff does break, it will be almost like installing a new OS mostly. The initial setup I did 2 years ago was already a pain with the hardware I had and took me awhile to get things working.

Another reason is because I like the Arch concept of the AUR and the rolling-release-model it uses, but I don't want to actually spend the time it takes to setup Arch so Manjaro is the next best bet.

I use a Macbook Pro with Sierra most of the time. I don't use it for much besides graphics or schoolwork, so no complaints here ^^

Still using Windows 7, don't have a decent PC for a Windows 10 upgrade.

I use Windows and Linux (for a server, and specifically CentOS 7 x64 without a GUI). I would use Linux for my desktop, but it is plagued with usability issues for desktop use. As a server OS though, I love Linux. I actually use the Linux CLI on Windows 10 to do certain things like extract strings from a file via grep.

Wow, I didn't know you could dual boot Mac devices... Nice!
Oh yea, absolutely! Boot Camp is built into the Mac OS (not sure when it was introduced) and allows to easily install Windows onto a partition. It's funny, I wanted a Mac for trying to develop iOS apps, at some point, but find myself mostly using my Windows partition for everything like gaming because I'm just so familiar with it haha

You can have any machine run any OS you'd like if you put fourth the effort. Some will be easy to setup, others will cause a lot of headache but it can be done.

Some people have even triple booted all three OSes.

Wow... I once had 4 OSes but they broke my machine, and 3 of those 4 OSes were Linux distros

@Tonko well you need to have proper partitioning and adequate space to do that as well as hardware that can handle the OS you are trying to run.

If you are just playing with Linux distros, just use a virtual machine as that is much easier to manage than setting up multi-boot systems.

Yep, that was before I heard about virtual machines. They came in so useful...

I mainly use windows as my main platform.... I have different operating system on different external hardrives (no virtualmachines) so later I could boot an operating system one at a time without need to divide resources for respected Eco-system.

For me It's a very efficient way to compile code without need to divide resources..

I am a laptop user (Windows, Mac, Linux)

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
