Which phase of gamedev do you prefer?

Which phase of game development do you prefer? [POLL]

  • Early phase (planning, design, building the foundation, etc.)

It seems that I am not the only one who likes Early phase -> Late Phase -> Mid Phase. In this order.

Early Phase it is usually when you can let fly the imagination the most, so I like it a lot. Late Phase is a bit worse because although you can taste the results of your efforts, the constant revisions because of bugs and fixing one finding three more can be a bit exhasperating.

The Middle phase goes last just because of how long it is. I don't hate it either, but it is less enjoyable than the other two.
