You surprised me, I didn't know that Luc was a villain in Suikoden 3, that's so cool, now I'm curious to play that game.

Ouch, I think I spoiled it so bad now. You should play it, it's my favorite of PS2 games.

This is a tough one for me because of the games I play and how the baddies in these games are not villains by their own design but because of complex scenarios:

Nemesis in Resident Evil 3 has to be the closest I will say as an actual villain, although it is an experiment acting not on its own will but by some other means  I loved this guy. He always creeped me out. Every time I played he kept me on edge even when I expected him. The music was fitting as well. Always chasing you through the doors and never letting up. He was a real treat. Every time you knocked him down, ten minutes of gameplay later he was right back charging at you. Imagine seeing a 9 foot tall burnt up tentacle beast constantly evolving after every defeat, chasing you, snarling and stomping, with it's sole purpose in life being to kill you.

The Red Dragon from Dragons Dogma. His character is beyond words, so here:

Ultros from FF VI. It's pretty funny villain, I never get tired of battling that purple octopus.

Ultros is one of the biggest troll bosses ever, alongside with Kahn from BOFIV.

These guys aren't really true villains (more pushovers), but they're funny as hell...ahah

Maybe those stray dogs on Harvest Moon... you can attack them as many times as you want but they don't die...

THE MAGICIAN

He was originally a good character in the first Rayman game, but appears as a villain in Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends (as 5 similar teenies).

He basically tricks Rayman, Globox and the other good teensies in Rayman Origins making them think he's a good guy, however near enough the end of the game it's revealed that he used the Lums to empower his machine fortress and plans to destroy the land, plus he seems to be also a Mr. Dark's fan (the original archnemesis of Rayman).

I found this guy brilliant and hilarious as hell (the famous escape-dance scene is epic), he's an awesome villain.

My favorite villain has to be Kefka from FF6, or if we're getting into "Gray area" villains, Fou Lu (I probably spelled that wrong.) from Breath of Fire 4.

A lunatic who seemingly can't die that gets off on dismembering himself and regenerating the limbs to do it all over again has forever left a haunting memory in my mind.
