Who in your opinion is the coolest looking JRPG character?

I would have to say mine is either Auron from Final Fantasy 10, or Basch from Final Fantasy 12 brcause they both look mysterious, insightful and powerful. Also they just look really cool.

I used to be a big fan of Lise/Reisz from Seiken Densetsu 3, back when I played the game a lot. Her strong yet tender and innocent demeanor totally captivated me... She was easily the best of the game's main characters in terms of actual character, in my humble opinion.

...Man, this really takes me back. That last image, of her walking away from the burning castle, was saved to my old laptop way back in 2002... Monday, ‎October ‎28, ‎2002, at ‏‎8:39:14 PM, to be exact. Memories!!

Her story was very touching... after the death of Lise's mother upon giving birth to her brother Elliot, she climbed to the highest reaches of the mountains, where she "cried until she could cry no more." She then took upon herself a vow to be the mother for Elliot that her own mother didn't get the chance to be.

In the ending, if memory serves, Elliot talks about having had a dream or vision where he saw their parents in heaven, and they said that they were so proud of Lise, and didn't want her to be sad anymore. Wow... gets to me even now.
