Why are objects on maps without corresponding internal samples?

Like e.g. there's a snowed tower... but no internals, just a non-snowed one...

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Without wishing to sound too sarcastic, it doesn't usually snow indoors. Could you perhaps give a bit more detail?

Because interiors has ceilings/oofs, and there is no snow inside...?

I'm not fully understanding, can you be more specific? Like why there's no snow inside the tower? Because there doesn't normally snow indoors.

By internals here I mean still outside, just not on a world map, but outside of the tower... unless the player goes inside the tower straight away, without coming up close to it (but even then, I didn't notice any specifically tower's insides)... I've just been encountering these problems since I started actually, e.g. the yurts too on the snow fortress map... no internal yurts.

Is this a problem in your game or is it something you have noticed in others' games. I'm afraid that it's still a bit confusing for me.

If it's a problem in your game then try to take some pictures or make a video of it.

You can make a yurt\tent interior by using the cloth looking wall tile. It doesn't look very good in my opinion, though. Some of the resource packs come with tent interiors that are all pretty and nicely shaped, but the default stuff has nothing like that, unfortunately.

Yep, there are tent objects, but not tent shaped interiors; gotta put up with that blocky goodness. :p The sci-fi and modern sample maps are way better than the fantasy ones, in my opinion. Whoever made those looked like they had a lot of fun.

I'm just not sure why they put items on world maps with nothing corresponding. I ended up covering up the tower...

I think I finally get what you're talking about. You can actually find some of that stuff in the resource forums made by the community. The RTP always leaves some holes, so yes not every "buidling" in the world map tleset has a corresponding one on the outside tileset.

I think world map tile sprite could be seen as symbol not as actually representation of actual map. but well, that's my interpretation.

Looking at Code abd knowing that it made sense at one time. Ugh..why did I ever stop? Well I guess it will come back to me.
Well, Blizzard... thanks for making it easy to decide what to delete to free up some hard drive space... I guess. Ugh.
So far, I've rated 5 of the games out of the 120 submitted. Competition is fierce! There are a few which I played and thought "Well, at least my submission is better than this one." but there's at least one which is far better than mine (at least by my judgement.) Trying very hard to rate games fairly and only comment when I have something constructive to say. Good luck everyone!
