Why are there two RPG Maker Vx Ace forums?

Why are there two RPG Maker Vx Ace forums? It's so confusing sometimes. To top it off they look almost exactly alike -.-  I was just curious why.. Anyone know?

The second forum is only focused on RPGMaker VX Ace while RMWebs supports mostly all the engines of Enterbrain :3

This forum is not only for Ace. It is for a few of Enterbrain's products (ex. RPGMaker XP, VX, Ace & IG Maker).

As where RPGMakerVXACE.net is just for ace.

That is the main difference.

I guess, I don't know much about web development, but that seems like it would do the same thing if they used one site. Is the one that focuses on VX ace too big or something?

the sites do work together sometimes, so the other site probably got permission to use the similar layout, though, I've never been on the other site myself, since this is the official site.

We've got nothing to do with that forum.


We sometimes work with other fan forums, like rpgmaker.net, but that's about it.


To the original question, this is the official forum for RPG Maker, with official support and you can buy the products from here, too. The other is a fan forum. The reason both look similar is because they both use IP board software, but there's still a huge difference between them.
