Why can't I see images in the forums?

I don't know if it has to do with my internet connection (which is fine as far as I'm concerned) but everytime I try to post a picture (or to see someone else's pictures) it just displays a "IMG" between brackets and nothing more... does anyone else have this problem?

edit: Also, how can I change the title of this post (or any other post)?

I can't answer the first question but I can answer the second. When you look at your thread there is a little button called thread tools. One of the drop down options is edit title.

As for the images, have you tried waiting? Sometimes when my connection is slow I get nothing but image tags, the pics take up to 5 minutes to show up sometimes.

I have that problem too sometimes, I usually just refresh the page until it works...
Obviously @just1witness is probably right, I'm just too impatient sometimes!

I have this problem sometimes, but I usually just refresh like @Kyoku does.

Is your internet really slow? That could be the reason it won't show up

@Kyoku I've tried this but won't work. I also tried to open it in firefox but I get the same problem

@Arisa-Chan I think my internet is fairly fast, especially to open images Is this something new? I haven't had this issue before, it's kinda recent

Sometimes I too see but then at the same time someone else's image loads fine.
For example.


I reloaded the page 10 times but Arisa's picture loaded in fine, yet I couldn't witness Just1witness's photo at all.
Can you see the image above the text btw?

Getting back to your question about posting pictures. Are you linking them or are you uploading them?

Ohhh, I think I can sorta solve this now. The image might be linked, which can cause it not to upload. If it's uploaded directly onto the site, it does.

This is precisely what I think the issue may be for him ^_^.
However if its a upload issue I might not be able to help.

That's funny I can't see your pic on my pc, but I can on my phone, haha!

Anyway, that IMG "link" on my signature would never work, it's plain text. PhotoBucket broke my sig. I tried to delete everything but missed one.

I get the same sort of issue sometimes as well.

I think it's sadly due to the new forum's software. Nothing much we can do about it, except you can try to refresh a couple of times and see if that helps.
