It's because your inn is running a recover all. Recover all removes ALL states, including death. If you don't want that to happen, instead set up the inn so that it recovers 9999 HP and 999 MP. Then you will keep all states.
Just heal a constant. I have mine set up to heal 9999 HP, as that is the maximum HP anyone can have in my game. Same with MP, use a constant and set it as high as your max MP. Then the inn will recover all HP and MP.
Use a Control Variables command to calculate the amount to recover based on the % you want to use. This means you will need to do it separately for each party member.
the tip for 999's worked because instead of recover all which changes dead state to living.. lol.. you ONLY replenish hp and mp or any other states you want to undo
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
