why does my events turn invisible? (added a screenshot)

theres an even i made  on this  map she keeps disapearing 

shes still there i think cause the event still runs besides i can see her  balloon pop up so she still there but shes invisible

here i finally made a screenshot

i may have to restart my game

but thanks for trying to help everyone

im gonna try again and  i may get things right this time

please post a screenshot of the event pages, then we can tell you - there are half a dozen different option what might have happened, from you forgetting to place a sprite to turning transparency on to having no page with fulfilled conditions to several other options.

i cant....... theres no way to may a screen shot  and i dont have a cam/camera to do that

dude printing the screen means il need a printer and mines broken. guess il have to restart everythig......

the "Print Screen" button doesn't actually print...it creates an image of your current screen. If you go into 'Paint' and press Control-V, that image will appear in Paint for you to save..

Also you can post a link to photobucket where people can see the screenshot. Try that.

its usually on your own keyboard key. PRT SC, Print Screen could be 1 of them. usually near the ins, home, page up areas.

not related to rpgmaker. it basically copys your entire desktop view. meaning it would be best to crop off extra stuff in paint if you do not want to show the world your desktop etc.

i pressed it  but it didnt do anything.... wierd but my keyboard has been wearing out my num pad the symbols dont work anymore so that ma be one reason why

yup, that is it. once you print screen,

CTRL V into paint.  COPY the part  you want to show us using the square crop tool on paint. open a new page on paint and paste it. save as jpeg file. upload here.

some keyboards require you to hold the FN button on your keyboard and print screen button together.

Afraid that is not all of the event. You cut off the left side of the event, and usually errors like you describe are due to errors in setting up that left side. Is this page 1 of the event? Are there other pages? Things like that will really help with the debugging.

As it is, with all you posted, all I can tell you to do is make sure that switch 002 is on, as you have the event set to run when switch 002 is on. However, if there are other pages after that, discard that, as RPGMaker *always* runs the highest number page that meets the condition.

No, it is not complete - the most important parts are outside or hidden behind the taskbar.
Best guess - from what I can see behind the taskbar, you haven't selected a sprite for the event - that's why it is invisible. you need to click on the "Image" field on the left side and select a sprite for the event to become visible.


Next time, don't use [prtscrn] for screenshot, but use [alt]-[prtscrn] as that will limit the screenshot to the active window.

no there isnt supposed to be anything there....... its a player touch trigger it triggers a switch that is with the other events. the girl is  a different event
