Why is Life Cruel

Why do you think life is cruel? Sometimes when you do whatever it takes to gain your happiness through hardships and trials you end up loosing it at the end. Anyway, nothing is wrong with me;just asking  your oppinion

Because happiness is often an unattainable goal, no matter how we try...we almost never achive it.

Eagles have feelings too!  True long lasting happiness is unattainable but you can get chunks of it from the little victories!

Life is cruel in someways. People say money can't buy happiness, that's only half true. Happiness always dies down after a while... Finding the next fix is not always easy... Life may sucka punch yo' azz with sadness instead. LOL.  

...And many wonder why some people rather watch the world burn ( in a nuclear fire ).

I wouldn't say it's cruel OVERALL; it had its benefits most definitely. But it's possible to have alot of bad days or just overall bad luck in general (i.e. me) and be forced to undertake absolute hell.

In the grand scheme of things, it all depends on how fate is feeling.

It's not always your fault when bad things happen to you, but you absolutely have to take responsibility for your own happiness. If not, you will - both directly and indirectly - cause bad things to happen to you.

Life isn't cruel, its indifferent. Take responsibility for your own life, and help those you can on the way. Happiness is something you can create for yourself, no one can give it to you. You can have everything you could ever want and still be unhappy, and have nearly nothing and be happy. (And if that involves having to go to a therapist, or a psychiatrist because you have issues, then that is what you need to do.)

The thing is, being unhappy doesn't SOLVE anything. If something displeases you about your life, take steps to fix it, don't mope about it.

Seeking psychiatric care or therapy is something YOU do, it doesn't come to you. And if its necessary to do for you to be happy, then that is the direction you need to go. Its still taking responsibility for your own happiness.
