But that makes the achievers sound too much like the winners!

What does anyone really achieve, if it doesn't make them happy?

I think the problem is that people see it as an either/or.

I accept that what I have is enough. Doesn't stop me from working towards more.

I agree wholeheartedly with this! Things are never just black or white.

Yup I think it's just a way of reducing things down to the minimum number of options.

There's always a spectrum, just easiest to understand it by its extremes.

My main point is I know people who are mostly happy whatever the weather, and i envy that.

Life is as cruel as you make it for yourself - but some people are more prone to making it cruel than others.

There's something I love about this line so much.  This may have some truth to it, well, at least for a few members.

Look on the bright side guys. At least you have both arms and both legs (i hope so). Life isn't that bad. Gotta focus on the good things....
