Okay so I thought I followed the tutorials I was looking at really well - I added a self switch and created another page and hit self switch for that so it would only happen once like I did with the shop keep, and I'd placed an image for the actor which will disappear when she joins the party. She shows up in the editor, but when I boot up the game she's invisible and even if I click where she should be she doesn't activate. I'm so confused and can't figure out what I've done wrong.

that 1st page has a condition itself which is "xXStarfightXx exists" that means it should ALREADY be in your party. If taht character is not in your active party that page conditions are not met.

If the character joins the party after the event is activated then don't set conditions for the 1st page.

Oh, so that's what actor does! I get it now lol I thought it mean't it'd be able to pull the sprites to fix her direction. Thanks!

Now I have to figure out how to make it so I can't pass through her until the event is done and she didn't actually disappear with the event, so now I have to figure out how stupid I am.

Thanks for the help~

Your event is also set to be "Above Character". If you don't want to pass through her then just set it to be "Same as Character"

Ah yeah I used to have it set to same but changed it because I thought maybe I needed to give it more priority. Oh, the things I'm learning.

Also I found out why she didn't disappear. My switch is set to A but on page 2 I had it set to C for some reason so I changed it to A and now she disappears so I can enter the shop.

Thanks again for your help!

Above character would mean that the player would be able to walk underneath that event. Below character would mean the player could walk on top of it.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
