I was just playtesting and noticed something really weird happening with my Exterior maps. I can walk through fences, but the fence tile is set to impassable. In the pic below you can see (on the left) my character standing in the fence tile, and at the same time over in the datafile you can see the fence is set to X. On other maps using the fence tile this isn't happening, so why is it happening here? Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Also...this is the most obnoxious April Fool's gag I've encountered so far. It's like Twitter spewed all over the website. Make it stop!

Is the top left tile in tile B set to a star?

Thank you for posting this. I've been having this kinda trouble too- mine is a bit different, a bridge that I want the party to be able to walk under, but to be able to take a ladder up to it and also walk on it. Currently, I had the bridge walkway set as star, and then my party can walk under and on it... but if on it above ground, they can still just walk off it onto the grass a story below. :p

We need a FAQ. I foresee this question a lot for people not familiar with VX.

@Gailbraithe: You might have gone over it with a blank upper tile that's set to passable. To check that, make one that's set to impassable and run it over the top of the fence. Or grab Yanfly's region passability script and post regions where you don't want the character to walk (it's very easy to use.)

Yes, that tile must always be set to a star, no exceptions.

DON'T ASK WHY IT'S A SECRET

ETA: Yay! It's all better now! Why? I don't know! It's a mystery.

By default, the top left tile B is what covers your entire map. If it's set to star, then it will preserve the tile A passabilities. Setting it to X or O will ignore tile A completely.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
