Hi, I know some people make separate .json for actors.

Why is that? Shouldn't they all be store inside actors.json inside data folder?

    Thanks

Possibly for use by their own or other people's plugins, especially if they're going to add stuff to actors that isnt readily doable in the database.

By doing it in a different json file, you reduce the risk of unwanted modifications to the main actors.json file (which could potentially lead to the program not being able to open your project).

Who makes a separate .json for actors?

If you want to know why someone does something, it would be easier to look at and explain if you provide links showing where this has happened.

The reason why anyone would favor custom json over default ones is simply put customization and customizability. You'll lose the default actors.json everytime you change something in it, nullifying your changes completely. But MV doesn't touch custom json files at all.
